July 14, 20241 yr Just confirming before I purchase this. Does this work with dx11? Or do need to have dx12 enabled.? Thanks Mike
July 14, 20241 yr I originally started using it with DX12 but last night tested with DX11 and it worked fine. I'm glad because at many larger airports VRAM usage with DX12 gets perilously close to all 12GB on my 3080 12GB. With DX11 I have plenty left - of the couple airports I tested last night 65%-75% usage vs up to 97% or a bit higher with DX12, i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

July 15, 20241 yr Tested this program and the cam moviment is bad and have big sttuters with 3070TI and frames locked to 30

July 15, 20241 yr You need to have a very stable base framerate (the native 30-40 FPS you talk about). I use RTSS front-edge sync (a.k.a. @Noel's method), set to 30 FPS, and then I apply LSFG. Im gonna start with these questions: - When fps showing 30/60 for example, do the GPU and CPU load and temp process as in 30 fps or 60 fps? - If I use 144Hz, and set to 1/3 vsync, and use X2, will it give me 96 fps (vsync 1/3 in a 144hz monitor is 48, and X2 which results in LS 96 fps). Thank you Well as i discovered if you run at 30fps and use this (so you get 'boosted' to 60fps) the draw on CPU and GPU is same as if you are running 60fps. So i can run at 60fps anyway if i wanted so for me this is pointless. And i can't see how this youtube stuff about buying fps for older spec cards makes any sense because you card still needs to have the power right? Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 2070 8GB / 2x8 RAM/

I doubt, but even if, then simply let your PC run at 60FPS and LS will make 120 out of it. I honestly do not see your point here... July 15, 20241 yr This addon works a treat! I was using DLSS/FG/DLAA and had a steady frametime at 90fps. With this addon I changed to TAA, Render scaling 130 & FG on. Result is a steady frametime at native 60fps, but 120fps with LSFG! Super smooth and so much sharper textures with TAA. Give it a try. Locking fps and then turning on Lossless Scaling either doubles or triples fps (depending on the setting in L.S.) and uses virtually no additional draw on CPU or GPU - if it did nobody would use it. The whole point is that the doubling/tripling of fps is virtually free as far as CPU and GPU draw are concerned. My suspicion is that you don't own it and have never used it or you wouldn't have made your statement. The whole purpose of Lossless Scaling for fps improvement is that it uses almost no additional computer resources to do it's magic. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
