Subjective, not necessary if one ability to determine what is the best quality based their experience, if for example, one has a trained ear on what is the best sound system simplify because he is a sound engineer, or one who understands that what he finds in the simulators yoke relative to what the actual yoke feels like in a real aircraft based one how it's made. It wouldn't take millions of users for one person to judge the quality of what he is looking in a sim just because their opinion differ from his. After all, it wasn't the numbers alone out of 15 million who decided to buy captain sim that determined that the T7 of PMDG was better.

Most people also think that Microsoft Windows is the best operating system just because it runs on most PCs. If Microsoft hadn't managed to trickle down computer sellers with money like that, and every PC buyer had to decide on the operating system and buy it themselves, then things would look much different. And it was only with this market power that Microsoft was able to push MSFS so much. Without this, Windows and MSFS would sink into insignificance.

But people do judge what is best because they WANT to go there by choice which is why expensive restaurants stay in business and not driven out just because you have more people like to going to McDonald. The point is, X plane has been running for 30 years straight while the other sim shutdown development for 14 years and no amount of its users base, I am sure was larger than Xplane, stop it. It doesn't have 15 millions users as far as I know from LR to stay in business and they feel no need to use their sale figures or report numbers of users to help secure their future. They fulfill a need while at the same time, people have a desire to want it based on their personal experience with the sim, which keeps them motivated to bring us more things for us to look forward to.

I see the Laminars Team in flesh and blood who spoke to the public and discuss important topics related to XP12 that interest all the pilots of this sim.
Strangely enough I did not see the Laminars Team mention MSFS or PMDG.
I did not see them talk about numbers and commercial statistics.
I did not see them discuss the variety of sandwiches, pizzas and snacks present at the Expo bars.
According to "ChatGpt" these products are also part of the FSExpo, so we should also talk about those, including the graphs of business increase that the sales of CocaCola cans (present at the Expo) represented for the CocaCola company.

In 8 pages of this forum no one discussed the truly essential and important things presented at the FSexpo exhibition by the Laminar Team (illustrated in the screen).
8 pages of Off Topic and zero pages of discussion on the technical presentation of the Laminars Team.
