The Vulcan is a less desired aircraft for the entire flight sim market. Based on JF's other releases, it might make more sense for them to charge less for products that aren't as desirable and more for those that are, similar to how PMDG priced their 737.

Historically, the Vulcans were very expensive at around $60. And in FSX/P3D, you had to buy a $20 expansion pack to get the tanker & MRR variant.

They included the optional pack in XP, but the price was still $60.

In re category popularity, the JF Arrows aren't as good as the A2A Comanche, but cost the same, they're also not as good as Black Square TBM, but cost the same, etc.

And within the .mil category, the Hawk T1 is over $50 while the incomparable HeatBlur/IFT F-14 is $35.

It's their company and they can charge what they want, but I just can't make heads or tails out of their "strategy".

If I remember correctly, Just Flight marketed the  MSFS Vulcan at a relatively modest price ( £27.99 ) as a 'thank-you' to the community. To borrow an American expression, it's one of the biggest 'bangs per buck' I've ever bought in flight simming. A really fascinating aircraft. Anyway, back to that other Avro we were talking about. 😉

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Rumours have it that release will be around end September/start October. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/just-flight-announces-the-avro-rj-series-for-msfs/536362/112

...which would have been perfect for demonstration purposes if there had been a Flightsim Show at RAF Cosford this year

We're trying very hard to release this month.  Some bugs still to be treated and corrected, some optimisation issues to sort and some code still to be added and tested, from a third party developer.  So much done, so much left to do, all a bit fluid.  On the face of it, it's pretty much there, dig a little deeper and there's the loose ends to get sorted. It's our number one priority at this moment, rest assured.

Thank you.

My little RJ70 is almost here 🥰

I find the real life plane hard to track in terms of variants.  Does anybody have a list of airlines that operated each type covered by this new RJ Professional?  I can only seem to find lists that combine the 1st generation with the 2nd.

I used chatGPT to find more info, here’s the result:

The Avro variant of the British Aerospace 146, known as the **Avro RJ**, was introduced in the early 1990s as an updated and refined version of the BAe 146, featuring more modern avionics and quieter, more efficient engines. A number of airlines around the world operated the Avro RJ, particularly for short-haul regional flights. Some of the major airlines that used the Avro RJ (RJ70, RJ85, and RJ100 variants) include:

### European Airlines:
1. **British Airways** (UK) – Operated the RJ100 on short-haul domestic and European routes until the late 2000s.
2. **Swiss International Air Lines** (Switzerland) – The RJ100 played a significant role in the Swiss fleet, primarily on European routes, until its retirement in 2017.
3. **Brussels Airlines** (Belgium) – Operated a fleet of Avro RJ85 and RJ100 for many years until the aircraft was retired in 2017.
4. **CityJet** (Ireland) – Operated RJ85s primarily on regional routes out of London City Airport.
5. **Lufthansa** (Germany) – Operated Avro RJ85 and RJ100 variants via its regional subsidiaries, such as Lufthansa CityLine, on short European routes until 2011.
6. **Air France** (France) – Used Avro RJ85 aircraft on regional flights through its regional subsidiaries, such as Air France Régional.
7. **Malév Hungarian Airlines** (Hungary) – Operated the RJ70 variant primarily on domestic and regional flights in Europe.

### African Airlines:
1. **Air Botswana** – Operated the Avro RJ85 for regional flights across southern Africa.
2. **South African Airways** – Used the RJ85 for domestic and regional routes through its subsidiary, SA Airlink.

### Asian Airlines:
1. **Qeshm Air** (Iran) – Operated Avro RJ100 aircraft on regional routes within Iran and to neighboring countries.
2. **Bangkok Airways** (Thailand) – Used Avro RJ85 aircraft for short-haul routes in Southeast Asia.

### Other Regions:
1. **Atlantic Airways** (Faroe Islands) – Operated Avro RJ aircraft, providing services to various destinations in Europe, especially in challenging weather conditions where the aircraft's high-performance takeoff and landing capabilities were essential.
2. **Royal Air Maroc Express** (Morocco) – Operated RJ85 aircraft on regional routes within North Africa and Europe.

The Avro RJ series was eventually phased out by many airlines due to fleet modernization efforts, with newer, more fuel-efficient aircraft taking its place by the mid-2010s. However, some of these aircraft were sold to smaller airlines or charter operators and continued to operate in niche markets.

Summit uses them into Canada on northern ice and gravel strips.  Should be fun to fly around there.

That would have pushed it to a immediate purchase for me, now more of an "I'll think about it" as I've got the QT to fly and probably the 777f coming out at around the same time.

Still did love the RJ70 in FSX/P3D and the 146 is great, even if it lacks a ND .. ..
