My 777 1st testflight around EDDF ended in frozen controls, equipment, engine sounds, screens after 20 min flight on approach to 07R. So far so bad for hotfix 2.

What, is there a hotfix 2 allready ??

Or you mean hotfix 1 ?

cheers 😉

What is the matter with some of you? Is it so word not allowed difficult to read something that is more than one sentence long?

I did one flight after the hotfix (EKCH-EDDL), everything went well, no issues. Was impressed by VNAV which was very accurate from cruise FL360 to FAP 3000ft. The 777 is quickly becoming one of my favorite airliners - flies well, looks good, sounds good. I disagree with others saying the visuals are sub-standard or the sounds are terrible. Been impressed with the aircraft from entering the flight deck for the first time. Just my two cents.

Same here, zero problems so far at around 13 flights.

Surely not all long hauls right? Do you ever sleep?!

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Wish i had the time. So far only had a walk around with fresh painted ACA at KPAE looking around this amazing scenery by DW design. Higly recommended with KRNT as well.

I don't do long haul flights for at least 20 years. I would rather watch paint dry.

You could go do something else while the plane is flying. I usually sleep.

He could do several short hauls for the price of one long haul. That's more take offs and landings. You know, the best parts of any flight

If I am going to sleep, why would  I care if MSFS is running? Like leaving a TV on, while on vacation.

What’s the normal flight time that you do?

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Hotfix 1 is Version 2.034 or something like that but to my knowledge there has only been one hotfix released.  As always disclaimer that I could be wrong LOL

What is amazing is the fact that several high time, line certified Boeing Pilots have made Youtube videos on the 777, and raved about it , the way it looks, and it's performance. But, on the other hand, the high time paper airplanes pilot experts on Avsim, tell us how it is terrible, nothing is right about it, and they say it is NG...😉

Right? Who to believe.. the digital plane pilots who seriously seriously sim from their chairs, or those triggered by RSR and.PMDG, or fluffers and diehards of other sims who desperately try to spin PMDG's and MSFS's success as equivalent to MacDonald's high volume sales ... OR ... IRL pilots and actual experts, and oh, the thousands actually purchasing and enjoying what they've bought??

Gee, tough one 🤔
