with new and better coming soon, atop the best flight model in flight simulation and by far the most verstlatile platform.

I mean sure, if you are already paying $19.99  a month for xbox game pass, it would be very silly not to fly some msfs and msfs2024, but no one in here is going to be getting their wallets out for it off the back of some new sketchy cut scenes and some hyperbole by you.

I don't think I am, above 1000 feet orthophoto is as good as identical between the two, below that I expect

afaict the vast majority of ms scenery at that altitude is hot garbage - some of it is decent, seen a couple of port areas that have been stunning at exactly the right time of day, the 20 or so airports it has seem OK,

Beyond that AFAIK everyone that side of the fence is still waiting for

Also, afait, the whole reason people like Noel never actually post screenshots or videos is they dont actually have any decent ones, the few times after lots of convincing they have,  (new york, my local helidrome, few of the airports I frequent) they have been laughably bad.

All that is the reason msfs2024 became a thing, but since you can't even buy that yet - and it remains to be seen if it will actually be any better any time soon,

about the only "change" Ive seen from the other side is people posting msfs stuff, started deleting it all and making it private, e.g.

If you're talking about flight dynamics I agree that I like Xplane better.
But you can't tell us that MSFS has garbage scenery at low altitude.
Where do you see garbage?
This representation of scenery at very low altitude is absolutely convincing, I don't see what there is to complain about.

I don't want to defend MSFS (also because I don't fly with this sim!).
But I don't like the idea of seeing misinformation spread without any restraint.
Asserting that MSFS scenery are garbage is pure misinformation, any pilot who regularly uses that sim could prove you wrong every time.

Also... as I said once... instead of wasting time with MSFS (which is a sim that in this section of the forum we are not interested in because here we only talk about XP!)... write a letter to Laminar kindly inviting them to give us back the enlightenment that we had in 12.0.9, because the current one has gone "light years back". 🙃

no idea what you are talking about, I have zero sympathy for people who dont make sure a beta isnt breaking something they care about then start complaining about it when its not a beta anymore. 

I've got no complaints for 12.1.0, everything I sent them was fixed already.

I mean, I think everybody agrees on the superior flight model of the helicopters in XP11/12 compared to the other sim. But sorry, the video you posted above is not really convincing anybody to stay.... The ugliness of the ground textures coupled with those abomination of an autogen popping right in front of you, are these good points to prove that XP is better ?

How do you practice autorotation over a piece of scenery (MSFS) that is too full of trees?

Even FSX had trees and orthophoto 20 years ago, in fact at least fsx had proper runway lighting

And anyway, all that is also beside the point, for a good portion of people in here msfs isnt even an option, because we take stuff like

seriously enough to make installing it not even an option.
