In my case I don’t think it was picking up another ILS as it said it was on a back course and I had manually dialed in the frequency. This was with the ORBX v2 of EGLC. I’ll open another thread though as it doesn’t seem to be an aircraft specific issue. I was using orbx EGLC 2 myself. Tested using pmdg 736 from Lydd just now 09.ILS.ODLIG , captured loc /gs no problem. Would like to try again later without using lnav transition just vor from BIG using different plane. It might be the actual plane ap logic? Russell Gough SE London

More automation, AP Lnav (No Vnav, just the button, as it was never put into use on the real aircraft) use FLC to climb, and Vertical speed descending. Auto throttle as well. November 9, 20241 yr On my first flight with it. Congratulations to JustFlight, they really did a great job on this jet. One question: when I switch engine anti-ice on, I get warning messages of the type "ENG1 VLV NOT SHUT". Did I forget to do something? Edited November 9, 20241 yr by qqwertz

Did I forget to do something? umm top of my head: engines on? bleed air on/off? you need pressure in the system to force that warm air over the wings so SOMETHING is open that shouldnt be lol. Thats just general not plane specific. this is a good read regardless about bleed air/anti ice/engine start pressure etc: https://theflyingengineer.wordpress.com/projects/airbus-tech/pneumatics/ Russell Gough SE London

I am in the middle of a flight, so yes, engines seem to be on 🙂 I also don't have any warnings (except a green indicator on the general panel that anti-ice is on) and everything seems to work fine. Maybe that sign just indicates that engine anti-ice is activated for a specific engine.
November 9, 20241 yr What are people’s thoughts on the deck angle on approach with this aircraft? The review footage I’ve watched on YouTube seems to show the aircraft coming in nose up, even a London city approach I watched had an unrealistic level attitude on approach. Ive not flown a 146/RJ but have certainly flown along side them a lot in my freighter/ regional airline days, and always remember them coming in distinctively nose down. I’ve been looking forward to this release for a while but that deck angle is going to bug me every time I fly it , so holding off so far. 787 captain. November 9, 20241 yr @Simselli@martinboehme@DAD Thank you, gentlemen for your input! It sounds like the RJ is right up my alley over the 146.

I believe this is normal -- it's confirming to you that the valve supplying bleed air to the intake cowling is open. If you selected engine anti-ice and the "VLV NOT SHUT" lights _didn't_ come on, that would tell you a valve was stuck. IOW, this is not a warning, just a status indication.
November 10, 20241 yr As always - splendid Just Flight quality! The upgrade price of 80 % of the normal price for existing BAE-users does not feel very customer friendly - but ok - Just Flight is expensive. I is a shame that the Simbrief route import is so Old School - according to the manual it must be saved on the hard disk first before one can import it as "company route". Did anybody manage that? For sure I do something wrong ... My question: I (using Microsoft Store version) saved the .RTE-File in the directory : C:\users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_etc_8_etc_etc\LocalState\packages\justflight-aircraft-rj\work\JustFlight\FlightPlans\LOWWEDMA.RTE (the Simbrief-Exporter saves the file as LOWWEDMA01.RTE - but I renamed it to LOWWEDMA.RTE to follow the manual). But unfortunately - If I put LOWWEDMA into the scratchpad and click on 2L CO ROUTE the FMS says "NOT IN DATABASE" Please, what do I wrong? Enter LOWWEDMA on FMS 2L. Should work this way... I fully agree on the simbrief part, they should work on a more convenient solution. Edited November 10, 20241 yr by hollow1slo Matej Stavanja

It is a bit annoying that they both save to different locations as I was just using LNM export to save them. Was going to see if it can import the MSFS route and then use Simbrief dispatch to load it into the sim.... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
