  • This is why I haven't even bought any version MSFS2024 yet. I knew that MS servers in no way can deal with this kind of massive traffic at launch time. I'll wait at least few more days to see how dust

Glad it is finely released. Despite the bugs which was sure to be, I think msfs 2024 in time is going to be great! Happy flying all !

  • It's slow but it's moving ... Activating packages (Steam) 12%

Black Screen....😦 since 1 hour after loading the first 12GB. Restart once, W10 Firewall asked, again black screen.

10% CPU, 20%GPU no Network

Hopefully, someone will have it up and running by this time tomorrow then at this rate.  It will be interesting to see how well it works and whether it matches the hype.

UGH. I closed MSFS 2024 and reopened it, and now it's taking forever to start the game again. Is it going to take 30 minutes to load EVERY SINGLE TIME???

This is why I haven't even bought any version MSFS2024 yet. I knew that MS servers in no way can deal with this kind of massive traffic at launch time. I'll wait at least few more days to see how dusts settle down. Very happy flying MSFS2020 at present.

9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11

And wow it is now at 92% Loading world data

When I got on I only had 3 planes in free flight. Is that all? Then I had no idea how to get inside the plane I selected so I gave up. Is there a tutorial or something?

I want to add my WB-Sim Cessna 172 from MSFS2020. Where is the Community folder in 2024?

Ha ha 😀 i also just did a small VFR in the MSFS 2020 around Houston with default 172. Very good performance.  Hopefully the storm will settle for 2024.

Mine has been loading since less than 1,5 hrs...

Checked the monitor and at the bottom of the splash screen it says something like:

"97% - Loading unusually long: log saved to Report-loading.toml"
