Well, wasn't an underwater telecommunications cable  mysteriously" cut just recently?

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Managed to get a brief flight in the A330 from Liverpool. Controls still a mess but at least I got in the air. Not a great experience - stutters, Minecraft textures, performance was awful on my 4080 super/ 7800x3d. Does anyone know how to slow down the mouse panning? It’s horribly jerky.
I have a decent 100mb fibre connection, a very powerful machine and yet this game is pretty much unplayable - what a shame. Back to 2020 for a while I think.

I had to laugh at the new tagline :

"The sky is not the limit"

😂😂😂

They got that part dead right!

The limit is.... Cue drum roll.... Your BANDWIDTH.

I'm in UK connected to USA VPN and it still same, low bandwidth fails to spawn into any airport, spinning circle.

Yeah - usual generic error message that fails to help. Bandwidth is not going to help when the servers simply are unable to process the requests. It's not like anyone's connection isn't fast enough, the servers just are not able to serve any data. I'm sure there will be 100's of people on the forums defending MS/Asobo, but there really is no need to. The release has been a word not allowed show, we know it, they know it; now it's really a case what are they doing to resolve the problems and that is where clear and regular communication and acting at least a little contrite goes a long way.

started now for me as well, just did a ferry flight in career mode and wanted to hop on the next engagement but spinning circles everywhere. went to main menu and wanted to quit 2024 but even that hangs, seemingly not syncing data? hope my credits will not be gone if I force close 2024 through task manager...

Microsoft is to blame when they sell a new simulator that depends even more on server capacity, requires even more server capacity when the problems were not even completely solved for FS2020.

Unacceptable.

Welcome to the future it`s not how fast your PCs anymore, you only need 50GB for any version you need a fast connection 1GBps-x. Streaming the sim from the cloud for the rest.

Many are now getting this in MS2020. Either their taking servers away from 2020 permanently to help 2024 or who knows what..,,.

Somewhat true, but the big issue right now isn't people's internet connections - it's the servers on the MS side that can't keep up.

I have Fibre 1000 and keep getting "Your bandwidth is too low" errors. That's nonsense. I even had bandwidth issues flying in MSFS 20 yesterday, cruising over the Sahara desert at 35,000 feet with blurry ground textures and weather intermittently cutting out and suddenly changing. That's all because MS can't push the data to me so I could have the fastest fibre connection in the world and still have the same issue because what my PC receives from MS just isn't very much.

Explain.

Some of the features entered into the game move this from a simulator into the gaming category.  The in game control option features an Xbox controller and that seems like an indication that a lot of this series is moving into the gaming category and leaning towards the Xbox console aspect of this game and taking away from the simulator aspect.  It's a trend I'm noticing more than anything else.

I am only seeing improvements to the simulator aspect.  The fact other features are being included doesn't detract from this.
