December 2, 20241 yr I've been a PMDG customer for 2 decades and purchased every release to date. However, I have started losing interest in their business with the slow to release products. I find others developers have passed PMDG, so I am going to Save my $$ and not buy PMDG anymore. Pete Richards I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988. Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.

December 2, 20241 yr I fly the 777 all the time now. Can't think of any reason to get the 777F unless it was free.

December 2, 20241 yr To be fair they should have done 777-200LR and 777F in a combi-pack - both share same engines as well as fuselage is almost similar with only exception being one is passenger variant & other is cargo variant. Makes absolutely no sense to buy something for $70 for cargo variant then same price again for 77L. I get their new business model of buying what you need - But really this is getting ridiculous now. Although I do like the freighter variant (Lots of opportunities flying Fedex/UPS/Lufthansa Cargo), they really should have combined 777-200LR with it. Edited December 2, 20241 yr by CAP1234

There aren’t many 777-200LRs operating in passenger service anymore. Only 61 total were ever built. The majority still flying in passenger service are operated by Emirates. Pakistan International (which was the launch customer) has 2. Delta once had 10, which were sold in 2021. I don’t know if they were parted out or converted to freighters. Even if the LR variant were offered for free, I couldn’t see myself ever using it in the sim. Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. Yeah me too - The are few carriers that still flies them on regular basics (Emirates, Air Canada, Air India and Qatar airways) but is not the most popular 777 variant hence why I said above that PMDG should have combined it with 777F.
