No biggie I think the 77F will be priced at 50 U.S. not as much as the 773er.

The F is the version that I would prefer to have, but I would be surprised (and delighted) if the price is as low as 50 USD.

  • Sixteen pages of threads...and plenty of nay-sayers. Nothing invokes more emotion here on Avsim than a thread involving either PMDG or FSLabs. I bought the 777F on day one...not my usual MO.

  • I ordered a burger for lunch today and when I ordered a second one, they tried to charge me the full price. I said no thank you and walked out. I'll never go back again after being treated that way.

  • That's a crock of word not allowed

Unfortunately I think you are right, seems to me that it would make more sense for the 200 to be the budget option .. ..

However, I have started losing interest in their business with the slow to release products. I find others developers have passed PMDG, so I am going to Save my $$ and not buy PMDG anymore.

Why would you cut off your nose to spite your face?

Old news. This was announced days ago. So what is the asking price?

But thanks OP I had not seen it

I fly the planes I enjoy, size matched to the airports I chose to visit. Couldn't give a flying fig (can I say that?) what tourists and cargo pushers do in the real world.

My planes.

My routes.

My sim. (I mean that as a conceptual entity not legally software wise of course).

I'll probably buy it just because it's a smaller Triple 7. Fits nicely between my 739 and 773.

When someone says, "slow to release," I wonder what they are comparing that to...

I was looking forward to this release, but as it's just 2020 at the moment, i'll wait. I for one are enjoying 2024.

Deciding to no longer purchase PMDG products after 20+ years because I don't see there value anymore is not cutting of my nose. It's called voting with my wallet. PMDG are no longer king of the hill. I prefer to support other developers who I believe offer better products.

I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988.

Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom  DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.

Nup no more from them for me unless it's a 787. Their planes aren't must buys anymore.

The EFB for the 737 in MSFS2020 took over a year to deliver. And when they did, it was as basic as they come. It was like something they threw together over a weekend. Freeware aircraft came with better EFB. That was it for me.

May I ask, who's doing a better 737 or 777 at the moment?

By the same token, who's doing a better A340 or 767 at the moment?

I'd argue that chosing not to buy what is currently available is a very valid customer response.

Ifly 737  is on par or better.

The Airbus is a much better product, but it isn't a 737 or 777.

If like me you like Boeing's the choice is limited.

Sadly.

OK? They had to learn a new platform and the SDK didn't have nearly the same support on launch than it did 1 year down the line. On top of that they were also developing to support both pc and xbox, which made the matters worse. You also seem to leave out that they managed to release a high fidelity 737 (600-900[er], freighter, bbj variants), DC-6, and a 777-300er within that same time frame, and have one of the most expansive lineups in msfs for high fidelity airliners.

I can see a big opening for another dev to look at the Boeing line of aircraft aircraft. Competition is the name of the game, and i would love to see high fidelity aircraft like the 787 variants, 767, 757 ( know there's one in the works)
