....and they can also offer a bargain basement price for a 777 if some customers are not interested in "only real world routes and types". It works both ways.

  • Sixteen pages of threads...and plenty of nay-sayers. Nothing invokes more emotion here on Avsim than a thread involving either PMDG or FSLabs. I bought the 777F on day one...not my usual MO.

  • I ordered a burger for lunch today and when I ordered a second one, they tried to charge me the full price. I said no thank you and walked out. I'll never go back again after being treated that way.

  • That's a crock of word not allowed

Already got their 777 and love it but I am likely not buying more of their products when some are so similar in flavor but are charged full price.

Ie 737s. If the 777f was discounted heavily for current 777 owners.....maybe.

PMDG needs to get all their current products 100% bug free before adding anything more IMO.

Again, my opinion

ROFL, clearly you are not a software developer, there is no software product ANYWHERE that is ever 100% bug free. By that standard no one would ever release anything 🙂

$54.99 on their site now. I think I will pass, one 777 is enough.

Not to steal the thread but now RJ Professional is compatible with 2024.   I bought this just before 2024 was released with the promise of 2024 upgrade. Done by Just Flight!2020 is off my system. I had all the 737s and the 777. So the release of the freighter is too little too late.

I'm am guessing since (200LR) it is not a popular variant IRL - the price range will be similar to what they charge for 737-600. $35 is reasonable, For 777F however since it is the popular aircraft used by freighter operators - I am thinking the price range will be around $50 or so. PMDG have yet to disclose the pricing for 777F - But based on their previous pricing strategy, The estimates above sounds to be in right range. We will find out later this evening.

There you go folks - my approximation was closest, $54.99 for 777F. I'm staying away at the moment, had they done 777-200LR with it, I would have considered.

What a rip off. Same plane as he 300ER. Take out seats and add freight. Sorry. 34.99$ is the max I was willing to pay.

I was so sicked for this.

Price is fine if all you buy is the 777F, but if already own the 300, there should be a HUGE discount here.

I am out.

Not to mention the insulting 3$ rebate on the 300.

I wish people would stop expecting discounts just because they have another one of a developer's products. It comes across as disrespectful. I have the PMDG 737-600, but I would not expect a discount if I wanted to buy any of the other versions.

Bought it and loving it so far. I've been wanting some cargo ops. I'm still secretly hoping PMDG will reconsider making the 744 exclusive to 2024. Just me though.

As far as I understand - 777F will be last aircraft developed for 2020 version, anything new 200LR, 200ER and upcoming 747 will be for MSFS 2024 only. Have a look at Rob's post on PMDG forums few days back regarding their plans moving forward.

Exactly. People didn't like the fact you needed to buy a base plane to get expansions, so they went with the model where folks could choose, and that's still not enough.

It's like expecting a discount on a pint of beer after earlier buying a jug.

Can't reason with these sorts of people, honestly. Do they think the work was free from the dev team? It's not a charity..

Yep, I'm aware. That's why I said I hope they RECONSIDER their choice to go exclusive with 2024.

It certainly is not similar to 300, Freighter variant is shorter version and has different rated engines. As a result it certainly has different handling characteristics.

But you did get a discount on the 600. The 600 was a lot cheaper then the 800 for the simple reason that it is basically the same plane.

Anyway to each his own.

And I disagree. Customer loyalty should count for something. Its good for the company as well as the client.

Merry Christmas

That phrase is insulting and unnecessary.

and was not expecting it to be free, but I find that price to be a tad high that is all.
