Another side-by-side 2020/2024 comparison

I have a really good FS2020 which is stable and with70 pay ware airports and 2 PMDG planes.  For the last 3 weeks I exclusively have flown FS2024 with the default 737 and 787, plus the missions using the Cessna 172.  I have 1/2 the pay ware airports, plus RAAS and GSX on the 2024 sim.  Once the pmdg 777 comes out for 2024, I'll delete 2020.  I have nothing bad to say about 2020 or 2024 - both are simply amazing to me.

The loading times in MSFS 2020 do not even come close to being a problem that would force me to jump ship. The initial load when I fire up MSFS 2020 in a morning is irrelevant, since I am doing other

Vegetation, trees, and ground textures are the biggest difference. However, some places did update the maps, though I guess you might get the same updates in FS 2020 automatically as well. Would have to compare again. In FS 2020, the US is a bit better than it was before, Europe is only slightly better.

Otherwise, it's about as big of a jump as we could have expected, it's not easy texturing the whole world even if it based on overlaying on top of aerial imagery. They have a hard job.

Can I add the vegetation.. it adds to the overall experience.. 🙂

It really does. Also something I think doesn’t get enough kudos is the inland water colours and contours. Many rivers I’ve seen have the right colours for the region / beds and haven’t seen any OSM style straight line rivers. Looks so real.

i think the videos show what good value 2020 is at it's current price, particularly if you buy it from the right place.

The times and weather look different to me.
