In this video, FS2020 stands out as looking more real than FS2024 in the night clip. Hope work on night lighting continues in MSFS2024.

this is great... if it was a boating or driving sim.

whats important to me?

airport environment (ie. correct logical vehicle/plane/people movements), ATC (correct logical directions), sky environment (correct logical cloud types and wx). etc...

Pontification will not change the fact that in this case the reviewer is 100% spot on and quite well balanced with appropriate humor and accolades.

Pontificate as you please, if you want to accept one persons opinion!

I will. For you see I’m not afraid of someone else’s opinion as it may change my mind, and that’s not a bad thing necessarily. Peace!

Just what we need!

Have we reached 100 yet for comparisons posts comparing 2020 to 2024, they all seem like nonsense. Fly the one you like!

As I've repeated before, this is just YouTube Clickbait garbage. Yawn! Apparently this person as an expert on the games environments!

Won't waste my time watching but many of these comparisons mean nothing because many of us have different computer systems and have the game settings setup differently.

The amount of time it you took to write that, you may as well have watched the video.

The MSFS 2024 haters - many of whom have either never tried MSFS 2024, or tried it for a New York minute, keep posting these videos

Nobody is denying that MSFS 2024 has bugs and issues.

But, if you use, for example, the Cirrus Vision Jet in free flight mode and don't overload your community with various incompatible addons, you'll have a very nice experience.

But the haters keep on hatin' by claiming that this sim is "totally unflyable" ...

...which basically translates to: my particular plane, or my particular slice of environment - Photogrammetry in Northern Timbuktu is completely broken, I want my money back!!!!! - isn't working the way I want it to.

Here's my advice: fly a different plane, take-off from a different part of the world!

The lighting, both day light and night lighting, is noticably improved. Some of the scenery is better, other places not so much. I will get FS24, but I'm not sure when. A useful video, thanks for posting @ErichB

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

It is also a good idea making a comparison MSFS 2020 Ultra Settings/ MSFS 2024 Medium Settings 😁. Because some opine 2024 Medium is as good, or even looking better than 2020 Ultra

I'm so happy with MSFS2024 since they refunded me the amount of its purchase and I've returned to msfs2020.

I once asked a refund but not granted by Steam. They said I had "been playing for more than 7 hours". Setting up the controller itself took more than 4 hours 😄

Maybe for some lucky people, personally I just finished a flight from LIRN to LGAV and I had very blurry terrain textures through all the flight (not mentioning the continuous live traffic popup) 😞
