Known Issues (MSFS 2024)

Thanks. Clearly not very many issues at all and nothing that prevents a fun experience. Everything works that I can see.

I’m glad it work for you but in reality you don’t need to step on the brakes on an Airbus to release them.  So that could probably be a bug in the Fenix or a control assignment issue in the sim.

  • Fenix now uses “authentic” parking brake.  You must depress the toe brakes at the same time you select the parking brake.  Then you brakes should disengage and you Fenix should be movable. -B

? Never heard of this especially if you don't have rudder pedals with brakes to push which I don't - what am I missing here

I just release parking brake with a button and it works

In my desire to help original poster I conflated the Fenix with the PMDG Boeings.  My posit is incorrect but the feed back pointing out my error is.  Mea Culpa!

Hi,

It's not just the Fenix!

I had the same problem with the DA62X and the Draco X recently.

Full throttle, no parking brakes and not moving an inch!

Regards

I’ve had this issue with many planes. A tap on the toe brakes is enough to get going. Usually I think.

Hey im having the same issues, fenix somtimes works perfectly but every time i restart or i start a new flight at somewhere i frequent, it does not seem to move its very weird since somtimes it works and other times not at all

Please Help!

I have exactly the same problem with the Fenix not moving despite chocs etc having been removed - this only happens in the fs2024 - however at one stage I thought it was related to the plane being parked at a gate but its not as simple as that; placing the fenix on a remore ramp has often worked for me, but not at EGLL .

One hint for the developers might be the fact that when I 'park' on a runway and remove the brakes the plane does move .Such a shame.

Yup!

I have found that the brake switch on the TM Airbus throttle quadrant often gives me a brakes stuck on condition with different aircraft which requires a full brake application to release.

It’s strange and I haven’t wrapped my head around why because there’s nothing that shows the brakes still being on but they definitely are.

Exactly regis9, you got it correct. Same for me: I had to assing a (toe brakes) L+R axis to my TM Pilot configuration in order to have the brakes released when entering the cockpit. This from today (since yesterday no workaround needed, toe brakes were in the released position). No Idea what changed from then.

Guys,

Check this Discord post. Problem is that MSFS2024 comes with a lot of default control assignments for the TCA stuff, check ALL bindings on ALL controllers:

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with the Fenix A320 in MSFS 2024 where I often can't move the aircraft, no matter what I do. I have to restart multiple times and re-enter everything. It feels like the parking brake is engaged, but it's not.

I've removed all brake-related bindings, but the issue persists. No other aircraft have this problem. I've also reinstalled both MSFS and the Fenix A320 multiple times, but the problem remains.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@srandista, have you removed the chocks? I have to with the PMDG737 in P3D.
