After weeks of troubleshooting Beyond ATC’s performance issues, I’ve yet to find any meaningful solutions. What’s even more frustrating is that instead of offering help, many users here seem intent on blaming me for the problems, as if their lives depend on defending this app.

It’s disappointing to see valid concerns met with deflection rather than constructive support. The app is constantly touted as the "greatest thing ever," yet performance issues and unanswered questions are brushed aside.

For anyone considering Beyond ATC, I encourage you to make your own judgment and keep in mind the dismissive behavior I’ve encountered here. Constructive discussions should be about solving problems, not silencing criticism.

please if you see this post do not comment what’s already provided has given me some type of insight of what kind customers BATC is aiming for.

Geez, only now re-reading what I wrote I realized that it was utterly garbage, I deeply apologize. Besides this, I only tested BATC for some flights in MSFS2024 and all I can say is that on EDDF addon scenery (e.g.), the performance was absolutely comparable with everything on "5" versus AIG Traffic at 75%. Not yet tested in MSFS2020 though. Might also be an issue here, it looks like quiet some people report their experience from MSFS2024 and it might be, that performance is better in the new sim with BATC?

I did a valid test (exact scenario, reboot Win 11 between tests, etc) of BATC versus FSLTL in 2020 in an ultra-demanding scenario and my conclusion was that BATC's traffic component performance impact was roughly 2.5-5% greater than FSLTL, the difference being that BATC controls all traffic injected as well as your own where as FSLTL does not.  So if you take that into account for the traffic component alone they're essentially the same, which makes sense since both use the same models aircraft models.  It's possible there is accrued greater impact over flight time but I've had only one or two anecdotes that supports that idea so a bit too early to conclude much there.    So far I really like BATC and it has been the factor that had me finding a way to use NV DLSS FG and be happy and so far so good on that.

So, seems reasonable and comparable to what I see when comparing BATC using everything set at "5" with AIG TC at 75% in MSFS2024. Thanks, I skip my tests then.

Well, If I`m permitted to say, I`ve always found nice people offering me help here when I`ve been asking for. After all, we`re here to share our passion, not for starting a rude war. Just my two cents of course.

On my side, I`ve tried to offer you help about bios, since you flashed it and set it up based on a clikbait video, still waiting to know about your power limits, temperatures, frequencies, what way did you use (llc, manual AC/DC load line, adaptive or fixed offset and so on). Same about BATC cpu/ram usage and so on. But it looks you already decided BATC is cr*ap and bugged.

Anyway, I wish you`ll solve it and will have fun flightsimming of course, don`t get this as a personal attack, it`sjust my pioint of view. Being open minded and polite usually helps a lot.

I did not say that you in particular treated me like that in fact, you help me and you are actually genuinely trying to find a solution and it even resulted in less temps thanks to you I found other methods that I didn’t think existed!

AIGTC, FSLTL, FS Traffic and I think BTAC all park based on the ade, so if the spots are coded correctly AI will use the correct terminals. The only injector that uses their correct terminals and gates regardless of the ade is PSXT.

Yeah it is. + again discord is filled with same comments this only the tip of the iceberg. 

I just want to being up one point regarding the traffic injection of BATC. You shouldn't compare it directly to any other add-on like FSLTL as those other add-ons "just" inject traffic. BATC needs to perform more than the other tools as it "controls" the traffic in parallel including voice commands in both directions, handing off etc.

Having said that I also have some issues with BATC and performance when using VR. While in 2D there is no loss for me (as I locked my sim to 30 fps anyway to save power and get a more consistent experience) there is stuttering on larger airports when enabling traffic. It might be that using another game engine in parallel (BATC is based on Unity) is not so good for VR performance.

All of that with 13900k (running @ 5.1 GHz), 64 GB RAM and a 4090 OC...
