I preorder their MCDU and FMS both from Global site and Canadian site. I found out that apparently if you pre-order from Global site, you will get it much faster.  Does anyone know when it will be available?  I still have not paid since its only a pre-order

I’ve just placed an order and made immediate payment for the Airbus box.

maybe worth you buying one now from the global site and then only when it’s confirmed as paid and packing cancel your preorder.

I just ordered the 737 FMS but the Airbus MCDU and 777 FMS are pre-ordered sadly.

For Global Shipping if in the USA, you pay for shipping (Fedex}. Mine was $36 + $129.95 = $165.95 Ouch!...lol and I paid yesterday for the Pre-Order Airbus MCDU. So it is in progress to ship anytime soon.  

For the 737 PFP 3N (Panel of Flight Plan) at $136.45,  this I pre-order through the USA option and there was no shipping cost. .   I don't know why it switched on me from Global to USA...the website was very slow and hard to get around but with this shipping option, this will take longer to ship, I believe 45-50 days?..  But you won't have to pay for the shipping cost!..So if you're not in a rush to get it, this is the best option to save on the shipping cost.

I got the MCDU and the 737 one on the Global site on release day. Got the shipping email yesterday. Will be here a week from today. The 777 was also preordered from the Global site and it’s a 2 months wait.

Lucky you. I got bad luck. I ordered from the Canadian store as soon as it was launched January 17th, not knowing that global shipping was faster. The second it came out and I pre-ordered (MDCU, 737 and 777 FMS) which were all in pre-order status. I think there was some sort of glitch. By the time it took me to realize to re-try the purchase on the Global Site, it was too late and only 737 FMS was available which I ordered. MCDU and 777 FMS are in pre-order phase. I am kicking myself for not double checking the global site in the beginning and no I have to wait for awhile for MCDU and 777 FMS.

Preordered in the Australian store for an MCDU, no ability to pay yet, so it will be a while for me.

At least it gives me time to properly save up for it.  😀  I might pick up the 777 version later this year.

 

Are prices expected to go up after the pre-sale phase?

I also saw that the Availability of the Airbus MCDU changed back from Pre-Order to Available yesterday in the Global Shipping Store and bit the bullet and ordered it. 🙂

35$ for Shipping though (Switzerland), however I assume we have to wait at least 2 months until it would be available in the EU Store.

Has anyone info if you can have a left and right setup?

As far as I'm aware you can switch between the different (M)CDUs with their SimAppPro App.

 But can you own 2 of them and use one as captain and one as fo? I'm only asking because at the price point that's very affordable and we use both at same time in sim for monitoring etc.
