Im betting we'll be celebrating SU3 in December, but celebrating 2024 being fully finished in late 2027. February 26, 20251 yr As always, I'm thankful to have been told by the usual MSFS project manager cosplayers as to when MSFS 2024 will really be usable if ever, and when (if ever) it will be worthy of their consideration. I can now rest easy! I await with bated breath for their next sagely predictions because why listen to the actual devs like MS/Asobo, or believe my own eyes and experience in using 2024, when certain experts on avsim are here to dispense their wisdom?? 🤣 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

Months before they announce MSFS 2028 for 110 USD and still lacking a weather rada- We'll get SU3 long before December, but whether that will be enough to warrant the title a "Version 1.0" that it should've been on release is to be seen. Let's face it, if there's money to be made and they think another MSFS20XX version is worth the effort they'll do it, the gaming world can change a lot in 3/4 years. I just hope they get MSFS24 to a decent standard before the first year anniversary of it's shameful release, I'm not hopeful going on their past but time will tell if Jorgs words actually mean something this time round. I only use default assets in my enhancement sceneries, and some of the objects I used disappeared between 2020 and 2024... LOD problem. I had to rebuild anything I had done and swap out assets to ones that did not disappear at short lengths. When I am building things now with the default objects, I always have to "check" the draw distance of the default objects before placing them in the scenery. Most of the Gen_Hangars with numbers above 99 suffer from this, making them unusable at the moment for placing in sceneries. What good is a hangar building if it disappears 500 feet from you? Some items become blocky triangles if 100 feet away from them. I only have one default Golf Cart model I can use at the moment that retains its look as a golf cart at anything more than 50 ft of distance. (First world problem, I get it... but still annoying!) flightsim.to - map
February 26, 20251 yr Jorg: That’s the goal. But, you know, I always ask this question—what’s more important, release date or stability? Er...right, okay. 🤣 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

February 26, 20251 yr LoL performance is worse for me compared to 2020. Where i have a lot of addons installed.Visually better? I think it's mostly the bloom, and washed out effect which cannot be disabled.
