March 22, 20251 yr Anyone else having a difficult time starting the engine? I place the fuel selector on both, prime several times, makes sure the mixture is in, crack the throttle a little but turning the start key only makes the prop turn over, it won't catch and remain running. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

I wish they'd use the GFC500 or something. Actually a few of us are trying to see if a mod is possible. The pitot heat cover flag doesn't blow in the wind even though the cowl ones do hehe. And the Glide Slope shows in VLOC but the Glide Path does not in GPS mode. I will write them and see if they can fix it. Overall a nice bird - the price is pretty cheap. I remember buying their Mooney for 2020 for 40 USD lol. This half and looks a lot nicer. Yeah. Not sure about this. No offense. Just very skeptical of anything made by Carenado. Had two of their planes and regretted the purchase, no support for bugs, etc using outdated stuff etc. But it does look good. A nice addon if people are looking for this type of thing. In the 182RG you don't see them because they are bugged and pointing down. Especially in 2024 where most exterior lights are barely visible anyway in any aircraft. March 23, 20251 yr Is the default head position (and therefore visibility) out the side windows in a lower position where you can actually see out the side windows well enough? The 182T's side visibility is so bad in my opinion that I can't really enjoy the plane very much. If I Shift Q the camera down enough to see out the side window the front view becomes too low. I'm flying on a triple screen setup so that side monitor is basically just showing the area above the window and then a pretty small slice of the ground towards the bottom.

Isn't that how the real one is? I mostly fly low wings but I've flown a 172 a few times and I have to like move my head down to see out the window and raise it up to see over the panel. In the sim I use track IR or even VR so it's not really an issue. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I get what you are saying it just seems kind of extreme on this plane. I also think it is super noticeable for me on my triple screen setup since the side monitor is basically looking that direction. I may try to figure out how to post a screenshot sometime. I really like the 182 and would love to fly it more

March 23, 20251 yr Does the NAV flag on the HSI turn off when on an active GPS route? In the 182 RG, it stays visible.. I wonder if this 182 version has this bug fixed.. Edited March 23, 20251 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
