IMO, your opinion should lead if you started the topic. In any case, my answer: Escape.

  • I'm going to be honest, I wasn't planning on moving on to 2024 for the next 12 months, wanted to wait for it to mature, but my son had other plans and gave it to me for my birthday. Well, after a coup

  • I had to stop flying in real life because of senior citizen medical issues. With MSFS, I can still fly every day, all over the world.

Having the world at my finger tips to fly in a variety of aircraft.

The remarkable and great looking scenery. Photogrammetry is not perfect by any means, but it's coming along and it is a joy to fly VFR in MSFS 2024 😊

You'll need to explain that one.

It's when I see this sort of content appearing in addons for a Flight Sim:

Granted, I don't need to download it, but it does make me wonder about the shift in mind set of MSFS users - and the move to XBox.

I think we have enough options to avoid Manga-like addons if we want to.

Agreed! I only mention it as I think that Asobo is less likely to focus on developing (or fixing) SIM functionality when it's aiming to attract/please a totally different market.

Ah yes, got it. I don't think they'll head in that direction - but who knows?

But it's a technical piece of software, designed to resemble a rather technical real world activity.  The only way anything in it can be measured as "good" or "best" is from a technical standpoint.

Also for the love of god, can I offer you some form of punctuation between the words "technical" and "simple"?  A common, affordable period would work fine since we obviously aren't concerned about complete sentences.  But if that's pushing it, I have a lightly used comma you could have cheap.  If you'd like something a little fancier, I've got this hyphen that's been lying around forever I'd make you a deal on.  Of course, if you want to go top of the line and impress your friends, let me show you this semi colon over here...

Just didn't want someone to take the fun out of it. 🤡
