Hello simmers, I am facing something weird with Chaseplane installed in P3Dv4 sim. After loaded 747-400 plane I see normal during panning outside view but VC Cockpit.

I’ve seen this before. Make sure your shift bar hasn’t been pressed. Also that there are no conflicts with views in the sim control options.

I only touch Space Bar from keyboard and moving the Mouse pointer to view. Outside view of the plane, it works fine. In VC cockpit I can't get it with the same procedures as Outside view, space bar + mouse to move the cockpit. Also, I can't find a Chaseplane sharing profile for the 747. I think I should be able to find it in somewhere on the web, not sure.

For those of you having problems with CP after a Windows update this topic may be of interest. In short there's a utility that will block selected updates from being installed. I needed to use it as access to a Windows XP PC was being blocked. After using this utility that problem has been solved.

I know this is an old thread, but I just built a new PC and was having this problem with CP.  I couldn't figure out why this was happening (I hate WIn11), then I remembered this being discussed here.  So I assume that there has not been a permanent fix to this problem?

Sadly not but whilst the fix needs doing every sim session it is a simple action of just toggling the taskbar option on then off.

No fix that I’ve seen.  Kind of annoying, but I’m used to having to toggle the taskbar option at this point.  

I wonder if it would be that complex for//42 to fix this. Seems developers are becoming almost hostile towards legacy customers.

I wonder if the same issue exists in Chaseplane for p3dv6?

No problems to report using P3D Personal 6.11.31619 (patch3) and Chaseplane.

I had this issue but noticed last week Chaseplane is running fine now. I don't know if it is recent Win11 updates but it appears to be fixed on my end at the moment. We will see if it sticks with later updates. Microsoft has even admitted that everything is broken so maybe some of the resources Chase Plane relies on was fixed in one of the updates. I am running P3dv5 on the latest Win 11 Build.

I still have the problem (P3D5.4.9.28482) unless I put the Chaseplane Interface on my second monitor.

@gaumond, it would be helpful if you gave the build number of your Windows version.

Plus the status of the taskbar option that presumably you don’t now need to change.
