Just Flight Turbo Arrow and Warrior coming to MSFS2024

Featured Replies

Despite these minor flight model niggles these have overtaken the Comanche now as my GA aircraft of choice in FS2024.

Those of us who bought the A2A Comanche through the Marketplace feel like we've been short changed as we've still not had the updates to make it fully 2024 compatible. The version we have sort of works but it's definitely not 100%.

It doesn't claim to be 2024 compatible. If you'd have bought it from source you'd have the fix, for a few 2020 problems, from their forum.

Absolutely agree.  I was going to post this.  Visually they were a bit behind for MSFS.  Still I had a good many flights with them in 2020.

I just purchased the bundle package. I must say that I'm quite impressed with what they done including the 530/ 430 Garmins that's included. Did a nice long flight in the piper turbo sightseeing the Serengeti for a few hours and it was a blast to fly.

Quick question:

On my Comanche install, I've noticed that there's almost no rudder required on take off, climb, or turns. Which seems strange...

Does yours behave the same way....?

I did post a q in A2A forums, but so far there's been exactly zero response...😕

ETA: the rudder inputs required for the new Piper Arrows are what really had me noticing. Guess I got complacent with the Comanche!

Hmm, you know I have flown the Comanche so little lately I'm not sure. I'll check again myself. I've actually been working on Career mode since SU2 and you know a plane that REALLY needs some right rudder is the G36, that aspect of it feels very authentic. I wish the plane selection was more open in it 😞

I'd appreciate it, and of course, no rush.

I'm assuming that I need a reinstall or something, but some independent perspective from another user would be most welcome. 👍

OK, so this morning I did a comparison test, I used the Arrow III and the Comanche, I have to take back what I said, yes the Arrow handles very smoothly, but I actually needed more right rudder on the Comanche, and it's handling is just a dream, lol, reminded me again why I bought it 🙂 Put into a bank it just holds it exactly... Now I'm not saying the Arrow doesn't handle nicely, it is also wonderful, but with this side-by-side comparison my vote still goes with the Comanche.  If you don't have any left force then something is wrong... I don't suppose you have auto-rudder set and don't realize it??

Now, back to working on my Career! Have a good one!

OH, and on a slightly unrelated topic, when I did this test, for the VERY first time ATC actually got the plane designation correct, this was a shock, it means that even without a game update they can be fixing things on the server side. Let me explain, I use the registration of my old Cherokee, N7846N,  now in real life ATC will say "Piper 7846 November" or "Cherokee 7846 November", but the game always kept the initial 'N' in what they said, this morning starting on the runway for my test it ACTUALLY got it right, they said "Piper 7846 November"!!  Wow, a little thing, but really nice! Now if they start saying "right" and "left" rather than L or R 🙂

This is not Beta, its just stable SU2! I need to try other planes and airports to see if it happens everywhere.

Much appreciated!

Definitely agree on A2A 's add-ons. I've been hooked since P3D days!

I have all assists off, so must be something else with my config/install.

I'm going to go ahead and do an uninstall & clean install for the Comanche and go from there.

I’ve noticed in the warrior in VR the right hand fuel gauge label is distorted slightly.

While flying both left and right fuel needles appear to point at roughly the same angle so you would think the tank contents are the same, on closer inspection the label in the right has a distorted scale and was actually 5 gallons out from the left.

Not checked to see if this is still there in 2D or on the arrows, but can anyone else see this?

Am I the only one finding that the cockpit panel would benefit of a higher resolution texture?

Since the last MSFS2024 compatibility update, I'm really starting loving how the plane behave and the attention to detail, like the trim configuration. But he doesn't create the same immersion wave with my Tobii as a Carenado cockpit panel.

They've always been grainy and low resolution compared to most other aircraft. Even when they were released they looked a little out of date. The cliché was always that you wished you could have have Just Flight flight modelling with Carenado texture modelling.

As I’m sure you already know there’s a free  Carenado / Microsoft PA28 Dakota inbound to the sim next month, so that’ll make for an interesting comparator.

One thing you can count on in this world is that no flight simmer is ever happy with everything all the time.

Yes, looking forward to it. I love the recent F33A but as this is a freebie, I don't think it will be at that level unfortunately.

I just had a lovely flight from KMRY to KSBP in the Turbo Arrow III. I was 94% happy.
