May 12, 20251 yr In regards to the installation location for the 2024 birds, check your assigned Community location via: the marketplace / my library / then the little cog wheel to the far right of the search box. Somewhere along the way in the SU2 beta, the sim reset this for me back to the default under the usual user path. Couldn't figure out A) where were the planes installed, though they showed up in the sim, and B) changes I was making with Addon Linker (pointed at my custom location) weren't showing up in the sim. That with a BATC execution error pointed me at the culprit. All reset to my preferred location in now working.

I did find that for NAV to take you need to have the aircraft sitting over the Magenta Line, & the rotary dial on the RHS turned to NAV, as well as the HDG rocker switch pushed in [On]. & sometimes the AP On rocker will rock back & turn itself Off if I am trying to bank on to the Magenta line & climbing or diving, at the same time as turning. ie, AP seems happiest as regards setting it in flight, if the aircraft is straight & level. T45 T45 The AP has a HDG mode, it's supposed to follow the heading bug right?? Are you saying that you can just set that mode, move the heading bug and get it to follow that, because I've tried and I CANT get that to work. It works in the Warrior, so something is off here! May 12, 20251 yr Commercial Member Hi all. We were aiming to release updates today but have decided to postpone until tomorrow to give us more time for installer and testing work. Coming tomorrow (PA28 Arrow III v11.1, Turbo Arrow III/IV v6.1, Warrior II v4.1): - PMS50 GTN750 not showing and the GNS430/530 not powering on (PA28 Arrow/Turbo Arrow bundle only) - GPS screen brightness logic improved - now defaults to full brightness, combined navigation/radio light switch tooltip now shows more info on position - Interactive paper charts enabled again and WASM crash issue fixed - Tweaks to Warrior flight model pitch Also coming soon (not necessarily tomorrow): - Overhead dome light artwork improved - Engine manifold and fuel flow gauge needles made longer to better match real aircraft (PA28 Arrow/Turbo Arrow only) - Custom fuel and payload menu added to our EFB tablet Thanks for all the continued feedback, and patience with resolving the bundle issues over the weekend. As mentioned earlier, these updates are focused on bringing the PA28s to MSFS 2024 largely as-is, with more significant upgrades planned for later in the year, once we've finished bringing our other aircraft to MSFS 2024, released the F70/100 etc. Martyn - Just Flight Martyn - Just Flight

I think the Heading Bug has 2 bezels below the instrument. Try rotating one, then the other. One of them should move the aircraft when it is on HDG mode, & the NAV, HDG etc Dial is on HDG [12 oclock] T45

They owe ya a new plane LoL Gotta ask again, did you reinstall? Sometimes that’s all it takes. And I KNOW you know this, it ain’t yer first rodeo but sometimes even the best rider forgets his hatL -B Edited May 13, 20251 yr by btacon
May 13, 20251 yr So far, so good. The only thing I’ve noticed is the pilot avatar is clipping outside of the aircraft in all 3 Arrows and the Warrior.

Was pleased to see an update with one of the fixes being visibility for the TDS unit 🙂 I have a support ticket in. May 14, 20251 yr I find that excessive rudder is necessary to control the Arrow, Like many of you, I have many other GA planes and none even come close to needing this much rudder. On approach and nearing landing speed the mush factor is even more exaggerated with the necessary rudder input. Doesn't feel right to me and makes it unduly difficult to control at slow speeds. I don't think the Warrior has this same problem.

May 14, 20251 yr YAAAAYYYY! I don't know if it was really this 0.6.1 update or me developing the magic touch, but I'm very happy to report that the autopilot is now working as it should. I was wrong about a couple of things before, the HDG mode is not a momentary, it should actually push forward and stay, it was refusing to do that for me before, now it works. Also now it follows the bug as it should. A second confusion I had, which a more careful look at the manual cleared up. The "hidden altitude control" let's call it, I had assumed this worked like "altitude hold", I was clicking it and expecting it to level off and it wasn't. That's not how it works, you click on it, and then when you bring your mouse over that rectangular area your mousewheel becomes the climb control. So, the TDS is working, AP working, plane handles like butter. I'm ecstatic! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

I don't think the Warrior has this same problem. "excessive" is a subjective thing, but I did my PPL in a Cherokee 180, this feels completely reasonable to me, GA planes in the sim are often so bizarre in handling that maybe your expectations are wrong? I don't know. In the real plane when you increase power you need to increase right rudder, you develop a feel for how much, and its a smooth and constant thing as you roll down the runway. I find this plane's behavior to be very true to that. What do you mean by "slow speeds", like in the pattern? Maybe a more complete description? Cheers! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
