May 9, 20251 yr Hallelujah! No problems installing and, for me, the Warrior was the missing piece in 2024. (Apart from the PMDG 737 but I've given up on that.) I'm off to Le Touquet and I may be some time....😀 Edited May 9, 20251 yr by jarmstro

(I too am on Beta2) I got my PPL in 1978 in Grumman Tigers and Cheetahs but the vast majority of my hours after were done in a Piper Warrior with a Hershey Bar Wing. The Justflght PA-28 and Warrior were some of the first planes I purchased for MSFS 2020 and I flew a lot of hours in the Warrior in its early days, but soon its inherent flaws and a plethora of superior planes were released for 2020 and my venerable Pipers soon became hanger queens. Fast forward to today and for me, the Warrior has never been this good! Hats off and thank you to JustFlight and Blue Skies to all! -B I have a very similar background to you btacon and also was disappointed with the warrior and arrow from Justflight in MSFS2020. They were okay but somehow lacking character (which I find in abundance in the Commanche for example). Are you saying in your post that there has been some significant improvement in using the in MSFS 2024? If so, can you say more about what is different for you? AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

Well, I’ve only got about 20 min stick time so far but I will say this. The infrastructure (EFB and options) are greatly improved over the originals. The FM, for me, has improved significantly. The plane has improved stability both in level flight and turns. Autopilot SEEMS smoother but hey, it could be placebo. All in all, for me it’s a big win, and should be for you too, meaning if you already own it, the upgrade is free and that’s a no brainer in my book. Blue Skes, -B Edited May 9, 20251 yr by btacon

May 9, 20251 yr Does anyone know how to turn on the TDS GPS units in cold and dark. Starting at the runway they are powered on and I can shut down the engine, restart and they turn on when powering up the battery and alternator. But if I cancel the flight and start Cold and dark from a parking location, they do not power up but the other radio/gps options work just fine. This is on the Turbo Arrow III and IV. Thanks, Mike Edited May 9, 20251 yr by Mike62
May 9, 20251 yr Okay will have to check it out for a whirl in 2024. Also when is just flight (? Or asobo, not sure who’s to blame) going to get rid of this ridiculous instrument glass that either looks smoked or made of 1 inch thick plexiglass?? It doesn’t look like that IRL I can tell ya. Hats off and thank you to JustFlight and Blue Skies to all! -B Very similar to my IRL and Simming experience! 😊 As soon as the A2A Piper Comanche released for v2020, I just couldn't motivate to use the JF Pipers in MSFS any longer. In fact, I had previously gone back to the JF Turbo Arrow with REP in X-Plane (still a great add-on!). The recent JF Hawk v2 re-build has been a couple giant steps forward for that add-on, so I had/have high hopes for their Piper Arrows v2, as well. Based on your note, I'm REALLY looking forward forward to trying them out again this weekend 😁.

Basically the same airframes with the obvious differences. I only own the Turbo, because everyone knows retract gear, turbo, and FASTER are better! 😂

It's not so much MSFS as it is that the add-ons are new versions that have been significantly updated. Seems like Just Flight is going back through all their add-ons and really putting the work in to bring them up to top standards.

After first replacing the panel.cfg file, as indicated above.. which freed the frozen yoke and instruments, I took the Turbo Arrow III for a flight. Very nice flight model both on the ground and in the air. Now, if someone could remind me how to hide the tablet, I would be a happy camper.. 😉 Bert

I'm sure the installer will be updated now anyway. Did not find it on the forum, but in the discussion link https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/pa-28r-arrow-iii-from-just-flight/376056/1779 Bert
