Best AI traffic for 2024

Featured Replies

This week, I'm moving from 2020 to 2024. I currently use PSXT in 2020 as I like the realism of correct runways being used (especially at somewhere like EGLL).

What's the best solution for 2024? Should I continue with PSXT?

In short Sir AI Traffic in MSFS 2024 ain't worth (    ).

So what's the best alternative...PSXT, FSLTL, AIG et..?

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo

PSXT with FsTraffic (1st) and AIG (2nd) ac is the most realistic you can have. Nothing beats seeing ac taxiing/taking off/landing in Fs , knowing that in reality they are at the same spots too ( 30 sec delay )

I use it myself.

any reason to prioritize FST over AIG?

Unless you do not fly real time, what is the case in 95% of my flights because of the time of day I have my simming session slots 🙈🤣 Then it is AIG with AI Traffic Controller.

But they'll be incorrect runways used this way, right? Like at EGLL, they'll be landing and taking off on both?

Personally publicly available, I’d recommend BeyondATC

AMD 9950X3D | 64 GB RAM | RTX 5090

FMR: 747 FO, 757/767 CAPT, 737 Check Airman
Current 777 CAPT

I pretty much fly real time 95% of the time. I use AIG because of their updated flight schedules. But If your're plan on running SU3 stay away from AIG if you're using SU2 then all is fine.

MSFS 2020.  Love 2024 for its forward steps but some of the steps back hurt.

It is using AIG ac + FsTraffic ac by PSXT.
As the FsTraffic models are less heavy in the framerate than AIG models ( tested difference 34 fps VS 37 fps ) , I have PSXT first look for a matching FsTraffic model and if that one does not exist it will look at the AIG models.

AIG ac have real world registrations, while FsTraffic has not.

Everyone’s choice.

Myself I fly in realtime only.

AIG is an outstanding traffic package 👍

BeyondATC works pretty well. In my case the only issue I find is that the planes stutter quite a bit but hey this is MSFS2024 when pretty much everything stutters at some point!

for me AIG increases stutter at large airports (default and 3rd party) and during flight, FSLTL less stutter at airports and smoother during flight.

Yes, THE drawback of AIG using AIGTC is that MSFS controls AI traffic, which we all know is a mess
