Aerosoft have Crumbled, Ini will too

MS supported Flight Simulator for over 20 years till FSX then dumped it, not cost effective for one studio. They have now committed to supporting MSFS for ten years with Asobo, that commitment is being met with 2024 the next version of MSFS and may mean 2028 could be the next. But if you want if you want to move forward with better visuals and performance there may be a price to pay. Backward compatibility is standing still.

Everybody, just put him on ignore. He seems to be somebody's son in law around here and can post whatever he wants with no consequences, so just put him on ignore and these weekly threads will disappe

  • It's posts like these that sincerely make me hope that 'Msobo' will pull the plug on MSFS 2020, with the sole purpose of annoying you, lol. Get real man...

  • Seriously, what is your problem? All you ever bang on about is 2020 v 2024.

Couldnt somebody remove this guy with his destructive mindset from the forums?

Wow. If someone has a different opinion (which, by the way, is not a destructive mindset), should we remove them from the forums? I really don't know which of the two is worse. Additionally, more hits and topics on the Avsim forums mean more money for them.

Mods and Admins do not have a problem with it so why should you. Honest question.  I suggest use the ignore feature if do  not like his post.

Much like a strong cup of bitter coffee, a day doesn't properly start without a missive from Greazer.

You could "Ignore" him (AVSIM's existing feature) if you don't want to read his comments. It's so simple.

Lighten up guys I'm fairly sure half of it is tongue in cheek, I think if it bothers you just ignore it.

As I recently posted in another thread, this is a game and some posters who take the game and themselves very seriously are mistakenly thinking Greazer is of the same serious nature

He just enjoys irritating the 2024 fan boys, and they all gather on the threads he starts like sharks.

And the 2020 fan boys worship at his altar.

EDIT: In all seriousness, I did think INI going 2024-only on scenery was a little early. Later this year would have made more sense.

Greazer at it again...

And just like clockwork he'll be at it again as the MO is to post the usual vitriol around the 2024 v 2020 false dichotomy to start up the predicted responses then once the thread dies down waits a few days then starts it all over again with another thread of like kind.  The false dichotomy is simply this:  MSFS 2024 is the same sim--just improved in several areas over its predecessor.  As we all well understand MSFS is always a WIP and over time continues improving, just like its main competitor XPlane.   Clearly he gets off on seeing how many jump on board responding and I don't believe it matters at all whether the response is aligned or not with his agenda because all he's after are responses, the more the merrier.
