Everybody, just put him on ignore. He seems to be somebody's son in law around here and can post whatever he wants with no consequences, so just put him on ignore and these weekly threads will disappe

  • It's posts like these that sincerely make me hope that 'Msobo' will pull the plug on MSFS 2020, with the sole purpose of annoying you, lol. Get real man...

  • Seriously, what is your problem? All you ever bang on about is 2020 v 2024.

As discussed in the thread 2020 simmers fight back, the fight back is winning.

Aerosoft have crumbled to community demands, and are backporting Dusseldorf to FS2020. Even Msobo have crumbled. SU16 is finally planned, And they have assigned their best Dev to it (Lionel).  2020 simmers must continue to demand FSR3 and FSR4. Plus other graphics engine optimizations. The fight can be won. Inibuilds will be the next to crumble and go back to supporting 2020 add-ons. Their plan to go with 2024 Only will backfire and cost them heaps in lost sales. Watch this space.

I just want 2020 to be stable.  If I wanted all the new “bells and whistles” I would have naught 2024.

Life has taught me that stability and predictability are not always guaranteed but when you find them- stick with it.  Right now 2020 is both stable and predictable.

Some of you guys need to take a chill pill. Seriously, you are getting worked up about absolutely nothing.

You can't fight the future. MSFS2024 started out really (and i mean REALLY) bad, but it's bearable now and will become the "de facto" MSFS when everyone (devs) eventually moves on.

I didn't like it at first and was very vocal about it. Was it worth anything? Nah, although i was just venting, nobody really cares about it. Just use whatever you like the most, i ended up moving on when i finally managed to get some things the way i want them and those things counter balance in a positive manner the negatives still present in MSFS2024.

Again, MSFS is condemned like all others before were, and let's see what happens with MSFS2024. Since it is a mostly streamed simulator, they need to come up with ways to make you upgrade every 4 years or something, but this is another subject.

I'm pretty SU16 was always planned because it contains a fix for the timezone which was mentioned ages ago.

No no, the eternal wisdom of Greazer is always correct, his takes are nuanced and evidence based.

What I'm conflicted with now is whether to believe the great Greazer, or some others' (equally?) wise takes that SU16 is a way for MS/Asobo to mess up your 2020 environment so that you'll be pushed to move to 2024.

So much wisdom and sagely advice, what are we do to do?? I mean sure, we could listen to MS/Asobo themselves, but why do something idiotic like that right.

I think we can finally make FS 2024 look / feel / act a lot like FS 2020, with the added features that FS 2024 brought in various areas like flight dynamics and weather, scenery, AI traffic and ATC, Career etc...

We can now bring pretty much all of the 500+ GB of data to our disks, and FS 2024 will be a "fat FS 2020" 🙂

For those who believe "streaming" is not the best option, this new possibility - starting SU3 - brings new chances.

In my case I wouldn't go back to FS 2020 for any reason, including the fact that I still can't have in FS 2024 some of the addons I purchased for FS 2020, but honestly, I find FS 2024 much better in pretty much all aspects.

Correct and that is what I'm doing. taking a break from flight simmimg and enjoying the Summer months here in Washington   D.C. PC is shut off til at least September. Sometime and many times taking a break or taking a break or a walk is the remedy.

So if they just badge 2024 as 2020 will you be happy?

Just put him on your ignore list.

Works better. People like him usually make secondary accounts when banned.
