June 7, 20251 yr Man, what an incredible accomplishment and contribution this has been to the community. Truly incredible. Can anyone comment on performance in 2020 predominantly but also interested in 2024 performance. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

I am 90 minutes into a 16 hour flight with the 777, hence I was curious to hear if anyone had tried it and had any feedback yet. The last few builds performance has been pretty bad (for me) so I could also save myself quite some time by soliciting feedback from others if the consensus is performance hasn't improved... Thanks though Edited June 7, 20251 yr by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
June 7, 20251 yr It really is incredible what FBW are achieving here, thanks for all the work they are putting in, and the system depth is really getting up there with some of the best payware creation's. Completely agree. I'm blown away how much functionality from the 350 is in the 380 for free... It's absolutely payware quality. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
June 8, 2025Jun 8 Yes, it's marvelous. Unfortunately, the bad performance kills the fun for me. I will try it again from time to time, but so far, I can't feel any performance improvements since the first release. Feature wise, it offers enough for me to enjoy it. Job well done, highest of respect. I wish performance had a higher priority at this point. As I understand it, a considerable part is (not optimal) use of textures. cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px

Just installed it and so far better performance, also better than Inibuild A350.(2020) I do have a little hard time reading the displays. Any good suggestion? June 9, 2025Jun 9 I'd like to agree: This A380 is fabulous. I have been flying this plane for months exclusively. Sadly, it is causing a crash to my home airport (Drzewiecki Design KEWR), so I'm about to move on to the ini A50 so I can compare. There IS a version on Flightsim.TO has reduced pixels version that works in 2024. It also looks very good IMO so if you have 2024 and want to give it a try, then go for it! Works really nicely in MSFS2024 for me. Love it. Jase
June 10, 2025Jun 10 Yes - another thumbs up here. Did a BATC controlled flight in the UK in VR and it looked, sounded and behaved just as you would expect such a huge but modern airliner to do so. Can’t believe it’s free!! Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

June 10, 2025Jun 10 What a incredible job and in a good pace, and incredible free. Better performance for me also now. What a pity stopping the in real live production, I would like to watch a 1000 and a 900 haha, maybe a 1000 would be economically more competitive than 2 only engines already?, or to add 2 engines only to the A380 in a future haha.
