and notably the final one... curious what else comes between this and release. as I mentioned elsewhere, after some hiatus with the Twin Otter debacle or the extensive CRJ update cycle I decided also not to buy any aircraft from AS but will probably go for the 340 just because it is a Toliss cooperation, always been keen to get my hands on a Toliss product but did not switch to XP just for that...

I hope that aerosoft it's bad reputation from the passed will not cost toliss it's good reputation for the future.

It likely would be better if aerosoft did a silent partnership and sell the model to toliss and let toliss do his thing....

I am not happy with aerosoft being so present...due to the many issues they had....

It will not be a day one purchase....sorry for Thorsten at Toliss ...but I need to see if this works out indeed to be great....or a meh....

I do wish for both the best possible thing to happen!

Marcus P.

If you are going to accuse me of the (NoXP) tag to try to make it look like I am guilty, then I will get into it and give people more details.  GoranM, I have tried to avoid you in this thread, but si

  • I suspect this is going to shatter all past Toliss sales.  Happy for us and for them.  Looking forward to the plane.

  • Their systems are about as deep as you'll see in desktop flight simulation.  Airbus is actually a commercial customer of Toliss and no, I didn't write that the wrong way around.

Interesting, I  have been patiently waiting for the PMDG taxi camera in the -300 but was under the impression it wasn't possible in MSFS which apparently is NOT the case based on that video.

Looking good based on the vid.

It is not possible. This aircraft uses a cheat. The environment you see in the taxicam is NOT the sim environment.

Thanks for that, I guess I got as excited as when that hot girl brushed up against me in the supermarket by accident...  LOL

At least they’re trying.

That’s how things innovate.

Exactly, and just rewatched it.  Looks like the taxi cam from the live sim environment to me.

it's only rendering the underlying satellite imagery, not the actual airport scenery and you won't see any 3D models in that view, not that you really need them but still.

If you look closely the textures do not match what's outside of the cockpit window.

That'll do.  A step in the right direction.  I like it.

This 'camera' is a default sim feature. Aerosoft isn't doing anything special, they're just one of a couple devs to actually use it for this purpose. Now overlaying an animated image of the aircraft that responds to inputs, is neat.

the default 2024 Optica has it as well.
