October 17, 2025Oct 17 Agreed. IF Toliss can do the systems to their usual high quality, and IF Aerosoft can do the visuals to their usual high quality, and IF the two teams can work together well and integrate seamlessly... then this will be a great airplane. Lots of "ifs", but I'm hopeful that this will lead to more such collaborations with Toliss. Their systems modelling and flight model is top notch, but their visuals are always the weak link. The other way for Aerosoft. Fingers crossed. Edited October 17, 2025Oct 17 by JonathanC 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Entering the MSFS market can only mean good things for a developer 🙂 Good insights into their systems work. MSFS Addons has a writeup/summary of the video here: https://msfsaddons.com/2025/11/11/aerosoft-and-toliss-wrap-up-the-a340-600-pro-series-could-release-be-next/ Btw, has Aerosoft or Toliss stated if their 340 is being targeted for 2024 only or both 2024 and 2020? Given that the likely timeline would be a 2026 or 2027 release I'd hope they're focusing on MSFS 2024 only. In any case, glad it's a 340-600 so something different from the iniBuilds offering. According to this article from June, they plan to release it for 2020 first, with a version optimized for 2024 to follow later: https://flightsim.to/news/aerosoft-and-toliss-announce-a340-600-for-microsoft-flight-simulator That article says, by the way, that the release is "scheduled for release before 2026". That timeline doesn't seem to have slipped yet judging by the comments Rafi made just a few days ago on the German-language podcast "Die Simulanten". They were discussing various upcoming addons and, as I recall, someone commented "well, none of those are coming out before 2026", and Rafi said something along the lines of "well, except for the Aerosoft A340", and he didn't sound to me as if he was joking. Doesn't mean it's actually going to happen, of course, but they still seem confident.

They're still shooting for the goal of releasing before xmas but that's challenging. If not ready then will release in Jan 2026.
