I suspect this is going to shatter all past Toliss sales.  Happy for us and for them.  Looking forward to the plane.

If you are going to accuse me of the (NoXP) tag to try to make it look like I am guilty, then I will get into it and give people more details.  GoranM, I have tried to avoid you in this thread, but si

  • Their systems are about as deep as you'll see in desktop flight simulation.  Airbus is actually a commercial customer of Toliss and no, I didn't write that the wrong way around.

From the registration that they showed in the video (D-AIGU), an A340-300.

I wouldn’t be surprised if ini does multiple variants.

When this and the ini one come out, Vatsim German controllers are going to be insanely busy for many weeks. Lufthansa is really the only one using the A343 still and they had the A346 for a while as well. I know I’ll be getting the A346 as I’m keen to try the Toliss systems. I know Iberia had them as well but the scenery offerings for Madrid are few.

Interesting! I know Toliss systems are very well regarded (even Airbus uses them).

But I didn't realize iniBuilds isn't up to par...? I thought the furor over the 350 was mainly about coding issues rather than systems fidelity? Im not an Airbus guy, so IDK...

I don’t own the iniBuilds one, but a lot of expertise within my development group indicated lots of room for improvement compared to Fenix. This is a real chance for Aerosoft to redeem themselves re the A330 problems. Given the reputation of Toliss, Aerosoft has the opportunity to rise to new heights and perhaps be on par with the best. Time will tell.

Not really, others are using the A343 too. And they do still have the A346.

Having had the Toliss A340 (and the others) for quite some time and really impressed by them i will be buying this for MSFS when this product makes its appearance.

Others mean's Swiss and Edelweiss Air. Also both part of Lufthansa Group.

Then of course Mahan Air because Iran is forced to use old airframes because of sanctions. And HiFly in Portugal. Kam Air in Afghanistan.

South African has 2 340-300 left in operation. But that's about it.

If we look at the 600 specifically in passenger configuration there is only Lufthansa, Conviasa and Mahan Air left who still operate it.

All others retired them .

That looks like a good thing for Flightsimmers, hope this two Dev's is a nice arrangement because i never had a experiment with Toliss but hope the best and hope to see some near study Level A340 not to far away !!

cheers 😉

Toliss's own statement re: this: https://x.com/ToLissOfficial/status/1938989058413211882?t=Ef5XTp1W9-YU-hnWclnCcw&s=19

!!! New Collaboration Announcement !!!

ToLiss is very happy to announce a special collaboration with Aerosoft. As per the Aerosoft announcement at FSExpo today, their upcoming A340-600 will be equipped with the full ToLiss systems that have been adapted from X-Plane to Microsoft as well as a brand new flight model developed specifically for this project in order to give the very same ToLiss experience to MSFS users.

We have been partners with Aerosoft since the very beginning of the ToLiss journey via their store and now we are thrilled that we can extend our relationship into a product release collaboration in MSFS.

So it is both systems and flight model for the Toliss side of the collab.

Toliss talking about their custom external flight model for the A340-600 used for XP and MSFS. If I understood correctly, they've aimed to do something like A2A where they can be independent of the sim platforms as much as possible? (he mentions how they did their own external/custom engine model in 2021 for XP12).

Interesting how they worked with McGill University in Montreal on this.
