Did you fully load the MD into a flight in MSFS so the aircraft is completely compiled, then close MSFS and try Navigraph?

Hello, yes I'm using MD11 since last update frequently without any problems. After navdata update today the navigraph hub is unable to install the DB into sim. Removed MD11 completely and installed new, with original deliverd DB plane is working, at the moment all additional liveries deleted, only flagships in community folder. Whenever I try to install new DB the old DB is gone and no new DB is availalable in AC. Does anybody know, where the DB ist installed in TFDI / MSFS2020? Best regards

$5 USD, the price of an actual cup of coffee at Starbucks in the US. Good on TFDI for a reasonable upgrade fee to MSFS 2024.

  • Hi all, we're happy to announce that the long-awaited Art, FS2024, and Extended Sim update for the MD-11 will release on 12JAN26 at 1600 GMT. We'll be here in Discord to chat and address anything

Well, $5 here is closer to the price of two coffees😝 After that, only three planes left before I can remove MSFS2020, but all of them are default.

I just updated my MD11 in both 2020 & 2024 with no problem.

In what way unable?

What happens if you click on install?

I've clicked "Install" then yellow "Installing" message was present, then the lightred "Remove" message. After some seconds  "Remove" going to blue "Install" button again. Tried this several times, and finally after the third Removal/Installation procedure of the navigraph hub software the installation went through and the actual NavDB was seen on FMC MCDU. Seems to be an "inconsistent" navigraph hub problem on my PC, I don't know, however happy to have it now. Thank you for your help in this matter... btw have you seen the removal of the last 2 digits at ALT scale if VS is more than +/-3000 ft. It's amazing this level of detail.... Best regards

Is it possible to lower the sound on the flightdeck ? Reducing the sound in the FS2024 settings don't help. It is difficult to hear the voice of the M$-ATC.

Didn't really want to make a new thread but:

Anyone had the issue where the nose wheel just won't turn? The tiller animation shows that its moving but the actual wheel is not turning. Worked fine on the airport that I took off from. But when I have landed at dest, I just can't steer. It's happened twice (different flights) so I'm wondering I'm doing something wrong or if its a bug.

This hasn't happened in other aircraft so far.

If you use the default ATC then just use headphone simulation in the sound settings.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that version 1.0.78 is now available to all customers. This update brings **over 130 additions, fixes, and improvements**.

**Key Changes: **
- Delay system to make switches and buttons not instant
- Yoke force simulation and LSAS pitch improvements (much better hand flying)
- A slew of new alerts and display behavior
- Various autoflight and MCDU behavior improvements
- Retuned GE FADEC and autothrottle (no more slow spool and no more dropping into speed protection on approach)
- Early descent mode not working properly
- Huge improvements to step climb calculation and behavior (i.e. they actually work reliably now)
- Improvements to ground navigation data (i.e. showing DME distance instead of ground distance, corrected TRUE vs MAG headings)
- Refined APU startup/shutdown behavior
- Fixed missing reverse thrust bindings
- Fixed missing keyboard flight control bindings
- Improved cockpit ambience sound
- And much, much more - we highly recommend reading the full changelog

**To Update:** Simply open the MD-11 Install Manager and it should show an update available.

**Full Changelog:** https://docs.tfdidesign.com/en/md11/changelog#h-1078-10-july-2025

**What this update is not: ** The art update, the PWs, or FS24 support. All of those are coming soon, just not today.

We really think you'll enjoy this update and as always, please let us know if you have any questions!

Nice! Does this include prototype livery N211MD ?

Why are you quoting a 4 month old changelog? And why don't you just look up the livery section of TFDI?

Yes it seems, look here under McDonnell Douglas House, N111MD, N211MD and N311MD 👍

Thanks 🙂 The last time I was looking for it was a while back and on flightsim.to

I must admit, you had me opening up the TFDi Manager to see if there was an update. Before I saw Farlis post that you were referring to an old change log.

Haha sorry about that. I too saw the post at the top of the list earlier in the day and thought it was a new update. Turns out someone else replied to the topic, thus shifting it to the top of the feed page. :)

Believe me I fell into the same trap and was confused for a second why my version number was higher than the one mentioned in the post. Then I saw the date...

Can someone with the product comment on how resource heavy the MD-11 is vs the PMDG 777 ? And on systems depth ? Is this product systems complete and is the flight model a good representation of the real  MD 11 ? Especially with the somewhat unstable tendencies of the real thing on landing. All approach modes are present and working such as RNAV/RNP ? Any issues with VNAV and observing and respecting  SID/STAR constraints ?
