July 18, 2025Jul 18 I think if the model/textures are at least PMDG standard that’s fine for me. one more question….is the in depth GSX a requirement? I don’t always have time to load the aircraft in real time before a flight (just like to get going….so in Fenix and PMDG I can instant load the fuel etc…is that possible?

Yes, you can just enter fuel and payload directly into the MCDU, distribution is automatic. You can add fuel using the refuelling panel under the wing (accessible through a web browser). If that is so easy then why didn't they? They had 5 years for what is essential a portover and they did not seem to have touched the artwork much and chose to focus on systems modeling instead. Which is fine, but that's all that is. Not a matter of what is difficult and what is easy. They just neglected the visual part in those 5 years.

I’m trying to knock myself off the fence but it’s £65 which isn’t cheap!

I watched my favourite streamers fly the thing, many of them real world pilots rated on the Airbus as well. What it does better than the Fenix is simulate the complete daily operations of a pilot. And that's quite the thing. But i does not fly better (except in the flare) and it does not sound or look better than the Fenix. It's a different design concept, but not a better one. It gives customers a choice on equal level. Personally I think they came to the market too late and the last thing I would recommend is people buy it out of impatience because they can't wait for Fenix to release the BFU and their NEO's. If you already own the Fenix package, wait. If you don't, pick the one that tickles you more, you will not be dissappointed by either of them.
July 18, 2025Jul 18 I think you’re right. I have the Fenix. Which is far better value. I think I’ll wait and stop being impatient. I’ll save the money for the 757 whenever that comes!
July 18, 2025Jul 18 An update hit their experimental server https://www.flightsimlabs.com/index.php/update-v11-0-1-309-released/
July 18, 2025Jul 18 Crazy how many people only care about Visuals and dismiss a Great A321Neo add-on. I will agree with other's as well, the FSLabs feels way better to hand fly. --Sean Hart
