July 23, 2025Jul 23 I just saw this and I thought I would share It is not often that I show plugin technology but in this case for those who are interested in something that bring your scenery in XP12 to life more than it is know, you are in for a treat. The best part, it free! You can find it here at the link below. https://forums.x-plane.org/files/file/82876-living-scenery-technology/

July 23, 2025Jul 23 Just wow too! Makes me want to change from X-Plane Flight Simulator to X-Car Road Simulator. Alexander Colka

July 23, 2025Jul 23 That is cool. Will be interesting to see what devs do with this, especially since it's free! 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Well maybe LR will have that figure out when they start instituting multicore processing in the next 12.30 release where that issue with the frames, hopefully won't be a problem. After all, the multicore its is just about here.
July 24, 2025Jul 24 Coincidentally I installed some scenery this morning that uses this resource - but it was not for cars or road traffic but to add shipping and boat traffic around a particular Pacific region (New Caledonia). Kept the LST bit but had to ditch (park) the overall scenery package because of mesh issues (It was not really not XP12 ready but XP10-11). Seems good to me. Up to the scenery builder to use it.

Maybe once multicore arrives this will work out just fine, unless you're using older equipment. July 25, 2025Jul 25 Moderator What makes this even more impressive is that X-Plane 3D models don't support full mesh/bone animations and just simple (rotate, translate), so the animations on those people walking must have taken some effort to get them looking that smooth.
July 25, 2025Jul 25 Another impressive piece of software ! The video has shown only "major" places, but I think this will really shine in "smaller" places, small airfields, towns, more remote areas etc... where details and life are usually missing. Edited July 25, 2025Jul 25 by Daube
