September 7, 2025Sep 7 HDR reminds me, has anyone found any presets that are similar to the airbornegeek ones that work for HDR? I've been trying to use HDR more often since I got a QD-OLED monitor a few months ago and finally have a monitor that can do real HDR. I really like that preset in non-HDR hoping to find something similar that will work in HDR as well (or maybe it works fine there as well haven't tried). I've also never used re-shade but decided to grab it after watching his followup video about re-shade settings to use with his preset though I haven't installed it yet. September 7, 2025Sep 7 Just adding a little to my last message, I realized that some of the more popular Rex Atmos Core presets are brighter than mine, so I decided to make a V3 Environmental preset which looks pretty good when using sim without any filters. I have my own Reshade preset (that I just posted on flightsim.to if you want to try it out!) which makes the whole sim a bit brighter, so I had my Rex Atmos Core presets slightly dimmer to work better with my Reshade. So, my V1 and V2 of my Environmental presets are made for use with my Reshade, while the new V3 Environmental preset I made works well with the default game with no filters/overlays. Hope this helps anyone who was using my presets!

September 9, 2025Sep 9 Has anyone had any effects of stuttering/hitching with the sim while using this? I installed it on Friday then Saturday I installed reshade for the first time with Airborne Geek's settings using the Sealed Sky preset. Only after doing all that I went to take my first flight and constant every couple minutes or sometimes more I'd get a hitch/stutter complete with a sound stutter. I tried shutting off Atmos while the flight was going and using the shortcut to disable reshade but being new to that I'm not sure if it fully disables it. I also know that Atmos is modifying things in real time. Basically trying to figure out if it's Atmos or Reshade, or Fenix's latest update. I did uninstall re-shade for now so I can test the base sim and then base sim and Atmos and see what happens but won't get around to testing it until the weekend probably. September 9, 2025Sep 9 Will this be compatible with the beta at some point, or do we have to wait for update 4 to come out of beta? I want to install SU4 but I'd miss this app too much now.

I want to install SU4 but I'd miss this app too much now. They are working on it. How long it takes depends on how many changes Asobo made. You can always opt out of the beta and opt in when Atmos Core is compatible again. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
September 9, 2025Sep 9 What I wonder: I now use the AB presets. If they get updated/adjusted, will this also update/adjust on my end? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
September 9, 2025Sep 9 I have to stand corrected: the GUI and adjustment, saving logic is not a catastrophy, it is a total, absolute word not allowed misery. How the heck they come up with such a utter nonsense mess. Seriously, give me some of those drugs, this is straight forward ridiculous. September 9, 2025Sep 9 @flyinion I am monitoring this also, as I am getting a hitch / stutter every 60-90 seconds or so, where I had nothing before. As soon as Atmos is compatible with SU4 I intend to test by running the sim by doing a circuit around a small airfield for 10 minutes, then activate Atmos and see what happens. Of course, it could be something else, but this has only been present for the last week or so. Edited September 9, 2025Sep 9 by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). September 9, 2025Sep 9 I'm looking for an install and run option without having to spend all my time tweaking things-how easy is it to get good results " out of the box" without tweaking with Rex Atmos? 9800X3D 5090 64 GB RAM

Easy now, as you can save auto-run favourites which load in automatically on next start. So just experiment for a while to find the three presets you like, then leave it set on your favourites. I use the three AB presets, and they are a good place to start I think, but there are plenty to try. Edited September 9, 2025Sep 9 by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
