MSFS2024 SU4 Beta v1.6.11.0

Featured Replies

... just been released. It's just a matter of minutes/seconds to get a official announcement and a release note.

EDIT: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sim-update-4-beta-1-6-11-0-release-notes-september-30-2025/739896 (thanks to @abrams_tank)

First thing noticed: Settings - Controls - Hardware Settings is not anymore INOP.

  • Something like this:   🤣

  • The fact is that your PC is way underpowered for what you want to do with it. The rest is just you refusing to accept that.

I hope this required update (beta) doesn't mess things up. My current setup is so well balanced that it is a dream come true, a joy to fly.

For the release notes, the date is 4 days ago, but the title says "Sim Update 4 Beta (1.6.11.0) Release Notes - September 30, 2025":

So are PMDG (and others) flyable now?  IOW does WASM function and do the screens light up?

TIA,

Blue Skies to you. I can’t fly right now but PMDG discord seems to imply the PMDG birds are flyable once more.  “Trust but verify”

oops I launched the sim a bit early, patch isn't up yet on Steam

Hello @abrams_tank,

The reason you are seeing a date mismatch is because we always receive the release notes for upcoming builds in advance and pre-stage them in a private/hidden admin-only section of the official forums. This is so we can post the notes as soon as the build goes live instead of having to copy, paste, proofread, edit, etc. the release notes once the build is released to testers.

Thanks,

SeedyL, MSFS Community Manager

Ok now it's live on steam, launching now

FYI to all.  On the Official Forum folks are reporting the PMDG’s, iFly, and Jetways are all working once more.  YMMV. TANSTAAFL.
