I have had a few where I haven't seen it update, but once the main menu loaded, it showed the correct version number. It can depend on your internet speed, but also some of the updates can be more server side now that the sim is mainly streamed. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Everything worked flawlessly with the exception of the charts page on the EFB. Just is stuck on loading had to use the navigraph charts plugin instead. All in stable enough for me to keep trying flights. **Edit Looking at navigraph hub it's not able to properly install the airac for the maddog in both sims. Sure, here it is: Rolling Cache - navigate to: C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache and delete ROLLINGCACHE.CCC. Scenery Indexes - navigate to C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes and delete all files within that folder. Streamed Packages - navigate to C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\StreamedPackages and delete all files within that folder. All 3 will get rebuilt by MSFS on the next launch. I've now done 2 flights and arrivals were fine, i.e. no floating objects or weird texture glitches in the sky. However, I noticed that GSX did not work at either arrival airport - it worked perfectly at departure. When I park up aligned with the marshaller it doesn't recognise that I'm in the parking position, so I can't activate any services. I also still seem to be missing some jetways on arrival, i.e. at KSFO I had one of the 2 jetways visible at the F gates - the one that GSX would normally connect to my aircraft was missing. I also had a few couatl crashes now with an error message and the log states something about jetways being faulty. So it seems that the latest beta build fixed the jetways for departure but not arrival.

V 1.6.11.0 for MSFS2024 and 1.3.7 for Citation X I cleaned out NVidia cache too. I think the downloading of Citation X beforehand, and not a straight re-installing, is critical(?). I also cleaned up Citation Longitude before that, maybe it uses files from there? October 1, 2025Oct 1 I never ever delete any caches, but I have installed FS 2024 a few times using fresh installs whenever a new SU beta starts. Other than that all interim updates are applied without any cache cleaning, and I have never experienced any problems with the default or addons aircraft. I do not have sceneries, well other than a library of reduced height trees. October 1, 2025Oct 1 Floating dark texture layer at KSFO is back...seems the cache removal either was just a temp fix or coincidence.
