  • Hello @abrams_tank, The reason you are seeing a date mismatch is because we always receive the release notes for upcoming builds in advance and pre-stage them in a private/hidden admin-only secti

  • Something like this:   🤣

  • The fact is that your PC is way underpowered for what you want to do with it. The rest is just you refusing to accept that.

I guess I'm a luck y guy, I haven't experienced any performance issues or freezes, on the contrary, SU4 has bee great in every way.

Me too.. this beta is amazing. Best experience ever in a flight sim. the sheer smoothness makes it a whole new sim! And even the interface is super fast now.. snappy. It's running like a dream 🙂

My 64gb cache seems to work well and I learned not to delete it.

Yes, although they're referring to other system caches like those used by the GPU driver software, while some other users also delete the WASM workspace.

I never delete anything, well, other than when I install new GPU drivers and still run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)...

I thought that was normal in MSFS?

Floating dark texture layer at KSFO is back...seems the cache removal either was just a temp fix or coincidence.

Lots of people reporting issues with floating objects and jetways in the latest build: Jetway issues in 1.6.11.0 - Sim Update 4 Beta | MSFS 2024 / Scenery & Airports - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

yes here the same, cleaning out all caches, it did come back

I hope they fix this ASAP - otherwise this is another great update and peak MSFS.

The AI lights issues are not impacting AIG models, but FSLTL are behaving oddly. I use BATC for traffic so no issues with AI movements/runway selection.

The floating issue is really strange and completely random, have posted on the official forums but many people have similar issues. My experience so far over the last 2 days.

  • PANC-CYVR - PANC ok, CYVR floating jetways on arrival
  • CYVR-KSFO - CYVR ok, KSFO missing jetways on arrival and dark floating texture
  • KSFO-PHNL - first attempt had the floating dark texture in KSFO, after clearing caches it was all great and also in PHNL on arrival
  • PHNL-KSFO - PHNL perfect other than a rogue FSLTL AI with strobes on at the gate, KSFO nearly perfect but some jetways were missing
  • Loading into KSFO again for a new flight:
    1. Attempt: Dark floating texture above the terminal area was back, jetways were fine
    2. Attempt: Different dark floating texture in a different part of the airport and jetways floating too
    3. Attempt: No dark floating textures, jetways were fine but runway and taxiway lights were all floating

Not sure what else to try, I was going to load in using clear skies weather with default baro and then switch to live/historic weather once at the gate - maybe it's a baro thing with live weather conflicting with the load order? Will report back.

Update: Scrap that - "Clear Skies" weather setting also produces floating runway/taxi lights at KSFO...will have to wait for a fix.

Exactly my experience with this beta, it is a joy to fly, incredibly smooth.

Just completed a 11.5 hour flight in the default A330-200, no issues.

My Citation X screens were blank too but I downloaded it and they worked. Not sure if it's because I downloaded it or because it was after I restarted the sim. If it works while streamed I'll save the drive space.

5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX  9070XT.

All my planes now work. Performance is unbelievable. Visuals are superb. And still there are those that gripe. I would be interested to learn which past simulator was better than FS2024 SU4?

cleaned caches, all ok now at KSFO with custom weather, does not matter what clear. storm etc CPU usage low and butter smooth. Turn on live weather ) overcast and rain, CPU usage doubles.

Jetways are ok now, but maybe the next time I start a flight it will be bonanca again......

it's not gripe....it's a beta, and I can clearly see that there is something wrong with live weather and CPU usage. maybe you can check with live weather at KSFO
