All my planes now work. Performance is unbelievable. Visuals are superb. And still there are those that gripe. I would be interested to learn which past simulator was better than FS2024 SU4?

Flight Unlimited 2 and 3.

  • Hello @abrams_tank, The reason you are seeing a date mismatch is because we always receive the release notes for upcoming builds in advance and pre-stage them in a private/hidden admin-only secti

  • The fact is that your PC is way underpowered for what you want to do with it. The rest is just you refusing to accept that.

Just completed a 11.5 hour flight in the default A330-200, no issues.

How did you get it to not WASM crash when selecting an arrival? Unfortunately, I can’t fly any variant that I have tried (-200 and -300 passenger) because the aircraft will become inop immediately upon selecting a STAR.

Also completed a 15hr stress test in the A350. No performance degradation, everything was fantastic, TLOD 400 the entire way.

underway now EGLL OMDB with A350 first flight with, ( need to adjust my rudder sensivity and brake ) but all going well.

testing SU4, but I have high hopes that this Sim is going to perform as I would always wished. Remember the days with max 25fps......

It will.. It's amazing on my PC, and you have a better GPU. It's butter smooth now.

Yesterday I did EPWA-LPPT on the 350 ULR... Was smooth as silk and really rewarding due to the very accurate weather depiction all along the route.

Will try one of those longer routes like LPPT-OMDB one of these days 🙂

The 350 is really nice to operate. I think Inibuilds has captured some of it's main features rather well, from the avionics to the flight characteristics.

Then using either FSHUD or BATC for the ATC and FSLTL for the AI Traffic models, is really the cherry on top of the cake I was long willing to be able to experiment in a desktop flightsim.

I didn't do anything, it just works for me.

Try deleting the WASM folder and streamed packages folder for it.

Wow gotta hand it to Asobo (i dont say that lightly)... SU4 is pretty sweet! Night lighting is awesome of course, but the smoothness is amazing...i hope they keep this up without degrading it by release!

Anyone else getting the pmdg 737-800 takeoff config warning constantly/randomly sounding, even during cruise?

Only started happening with this latest beta version.

Does the Simworks Studios PC 12 work in Beta 4?

I’d just wait for the official 737 release for 2024. Running an unofficial unsupported plane on a beta build is just too many variables.

PMDG should hopefully finish soon.. they really are super slow with updates and it’s very noticeable these days. Other devs can move much faster.

Can anyone confirm if the BSQ TBM 850 and Aerostar are playing nice with SU4 Beta?

Something happened to Legacy and Lock mouse mode when I use iFly 737 MAX. There is no difference between the two and I can't get any straight and semi-round arrows. Extremely inconvenient and almost unplayable 🥴

Did a flight from China down to Vietnam in the Cessna 408 Courier, here's some points.

The Good;

  • Performance in the air was a rock solid 46fps (in VR = very good with my system), probably helped by zero PG, no major cities, lower resolution DEM and very few/if any AI aircraft for the time of my flight (FSLTL was in action)
  • I rolled back the clock to an afternoon Sun, the clouds looked splendid as did the atmospherics (aided with OpenXR Toolkit with pre-adjusted values, think ReShade for flat screens kinda thing)
  • 408 is a great plane, lacking an in flight EFB so hope this can be added in (still issues with VRs EFB panel....) but otherwise a nice upgrade from my trusty Caravan.
  • No major stutters or performance drops at any point in the air

The Bad;

  • Low FPS and stutters on Taxi and take off still persist, departure was a a mid sized airport with zero planes on ground/in air around me
  • Low FPS and stutters on touchdown and taxi, arrival was a mid sized airport with a few planes at Gates
  • Low resolution textures on the ground, so painfully obvious when using the drone cam so I avoided using that too much
  • Mouse/Controllers still bugged in VR, I'll reserve comment on this as it's pointless
  • Ha Long Bay looks flat, I need to get a mod for this area so it shows it's glory

The Ugly;

  • Nothing

Conclusion;

  • Overall the flight was an 8/10 and SU4 Beta is certainly edging towards a "V1.0" release for me if I base it solely off this flight, but those ground stutters, major annoyances (beta issues only I hope re Mouse/Controllers in VR) need to be rectified before public release otherwise it maybe SU5 before it's "ready" for me.

    Finally I figure the only way I can bypass the dreadful regression of the ground textures is to get a new GPU.....so I'm working on that!

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Anybody experiencing VRAM overflow spiking at cruise with latest beta???.

Tried a flight from EDDF-LSZH was totally painful as VRAM spikes and get a CTD.
