MSFS2024 SU4 Beta v1.6.11.0

Is GSX Pro working now? Last SU4 beta, I got bad jetway data when operating jetways via the GSX Pro menu.

Are PMDG and Leonardo planes working good in SU4 latest beta now?

Just played around with the default C172, which has the inertia tensor fields in it's flight dynamics, and set different Pax & Load & Fuel to test the behaviour.

Looks very good now!

Imbalance effects and inertia moments look very plausible !

Jetways are working again - I just had a jetway connect to the Fenix via EFB. GSX didn't show the "bad jetway data" error. PMDG supposedly working too, though haven't tried myself yet.

Navdata now updating on the A350.

Update: Jetways are somewhat working. It was fine in PANC when I departed, when I landed in CYVR they were all hanging 100ft in the air...

Only issues I’m still having with the Beta are FPS Cap setting not working correctly, and in VR, the mouse leaves a trail while in the menus. Otherwise after a few hours of VFR flights, it’s working very well. My third party planes that were broken are now working correctly (for the ones I tested). Will try IFR next!

Yep.  Still having to set 32 to get 30 frames.  Weird!

Also, if you turn the frame cap off (so that the sim loads quicker next time - loads much slower with frame cap set for some unfathomable reason) then when you turn it on it goes back to 30 not 32.

I will say, it is silky smooth at 32 plus FG though.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

My planes and utilities seem to be working fine.

I finally joined the beta after leaving su3 so long ago.  Without question VRAM consumption is FAR FAR less!

These pics are running FlightBeam Minneapolis, SamScene MSP, AutoFPS (TLOD 600 hehe)

If you're on mobile my specs are basically a 12700K / 64GB RAM / RTX 4080 with frame gen generally flying at 1440p.  I also use VR.

Although the vram usage is high in su3 this combo always gives the resources popup message, along with pretty solid stutters.

MSP scenery is off my right wing in this pic...  sort of a downwind for runway 12R at KMSP.

I also have default AI traffic (forgot to check the amount when I took the pic... but I've not changed my AI settings in forever)

Double signage oops (running real taxiways and I didn't add any exlusions)

Do you have the issue with the mouse trail? For me, it leaves mouse pointers one after another across the screen when moving the mouse in the menus while in VR. Makes it difficult to change settings when they are covered up by the mouse trail. Not a big deal because I can leave VR and change settings in 2D mode. Just never had this issue except in the past two versions of the SU4 Beta.

Unfortunately, My sim is back to Freezing mid flight after about 10-15 min. Did that after the last SU4 update and now this update. Went back to SU3 and all is well. Su4 does not like something im running. Guess I'll wait a bit longer.

Have you tried disabling addons in the community folder?

Robin

Now with multiple SU4 beta builds behind us, I'm feeling very good about the super smooth performance increases! This should be an amazing update once it launches(fingers crossed).

I have been having the mouse trail issue in the menus since two updates ago. Wasn't really bothering me so I didn't follow up about it. But I say it now to let folks know this was a problem before today, although probably only for some people.

Yes, that’s what I thought first time, removed but still froze.
