Actually in their defence, none of the streams I saw have the ledge I’m seeing so maybe there’s something up with my install. It’s a pretty big problem and would be immediately apparent to anyone trying to get to the most used runway so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise it’s a pretty decent rendition - not top tier but it’s perfectly good. 

yeah chewwy was doing VATSIM spotting yesterday, and there was nothing there.

I take back my comments, seems I had a conflict with TAIMODELS EGCC that I didn't realized was installed ... will retest.

Having purchased the Taimodels EGCC.  Is it worth paying out again for the new Inibuilds version for MSFS2024 do you think?  I have been very happy with the Taimodels one and it performs very nicely for me.

I remember he had mention train sims in one of his posts and that he had been an ethusiast at one point. Perhaps hes spending time with that.

Either way, I know he is one of the more senior members of the AVSIM community, so I hope he is hale and hearty.

Yes, iniBuilds is better and it’s native 2024 so you will not get as many LOD issues (objects fading popup up that should be visible).  Got a video recorded, just need to upload.  If you max everything out in graphic settings and at night with heaving cloud/rain and 100% realistic AI traffic, you will get an FPS hit … so it is harder on FPS than TAIMODELS.

It’s a lot more detailed as you’d expect and a little more demanding on performance. I found the Maccosim perfectly acceptable for its day, especially if I recall it was a pretty early 2020 add-on airport release.

This ini version has the new terminal all modelled, along with the AVP in some detail and Concorde lights up in purple at night so there’s plenty of attention been paid to it. Overall I’d recommend.

Be careful if you have the Maccosim one in 2024 with this as even though I thought I’d disabled it, it was showing as ‘streamed’ so that’s what gave me the weird terrain issues around 23L.

I wish the sim would allow only one version of an airport and allow us to permanently disable old versions - Nice Cote D’Azur is another one where I am on version two of the payware version but the sim will happily stream both version 1 and the handcrafted Asobo version that came with the France update a while back. Keeping on top of duplicates can be a pain.

As far as I know, my Maccosim version is in the community folder, but I'll  check out the streamed content just in case.
