I thought Ryanair has their own special runway with arrestor cables, catch nets and permanent fire trucks lining the “their” runway … didn’t see that in the trailer video?

All Ryanair flight deck crew are carrier qualified. 🫡

While travelling as a passenger on the A350 into Manchester the other day I was reminded that  aircraft actually has a window in the lavatory.

You’d like that 😂

I mean talk about a win win scenario!!  😂   They could sell me that seat if they throw a television in there for me and slip me food every few hours!

Are those other versions up to date? T2 has new piers, gates and taxiways.

I don't know, not from that area. But as far as TO's and landings the EGCC that's available already works fine. If you want a more updated version of the same scenery, your choice. I rather spend money on something that's not done or available yet.

To Christopher's point earlier if anything was up to Gary's UK2000 standard I would have purchased already as well so I'm excited for a good EGCC as well too!  😉

Gary seems to have ignored Manchester. Strange.

Like you, I also use another sim. As I have no idea what Manchester really looks like, I am quite happy to continue flying in there as depicted in the UK 2000 version.

@IanHarrison, other than a new pier at the western end of T2 the airport layout is pretty much the same as shown in UK2000.

The big changes are inside the terminals.

Gary has concentrated more on regional airports (both in the UK and USA) with MSFS to date. However, he did release EGBB Birmingham last month, and he has every intention of building UK2000 versions of the larger airports in the future.

To be honest, I need a significantly better rendition of EGCC Manchester than the UK2000 P3D version. I want as much detail as possible (both internal and external), and I certainly want a really good rendition of the Aviation Viewing Park (including stuff like the cafe in the Concorde hangar). I have been there many times, and it is nice to be able to taxi past and see it from the other side of the fence.

Ini builds is offering 2 different editions of EGCC one from Tai and another from Macco. I own them both and they are working great in 2024. Not sure why I would invest in another copy of the same airport. I wish Ini would try something different that's not already been done. LIRF, LFPG KDFW, KIND.

Well that of course is your choice.

During the school holidays we used to get big crowds stood against the fence waiving at the 747 as we taxied past, I always used to give them a flash of the lights.

I don’t think they’d be too interested in the little 787😔

Maybe if you wave at them with the RAT? That might get their attention?
