November 28, 2025Nov 28 RELEASE NOTES Sim Update 4 Beta - 1.6.31.0 If you are playing on PC, outdated packages in your community folder may have an unexpected impact on the title’s performance and behavior. If you suffer from stability issues or long loading times, move your community package(s) to another folder before relaunching the title. Stability & Performance On PC and Xbox, changed the way the mip evictions are handled to improve texture management and reduce stutters. On Xbox, GPU is now used to manage the mipstreaming and reduce stutter frequency. Improved texture quality management to reduce stutters. Physics Fixed self impacting build up burst of wake turbulence that would happen when helicopters were touching the ground and that would cause absorbed torque / RPM changes on some helicopters. Aircraft Engines Piston Engines Fixed an issue introduced in SU4 that caused aircraft that override the manifold pressure to see a different change of engine performance when compared to SU3. November 28, 2025Nov 28 Author Runs fluid, a little less VRAM usage in my usual test scenario. ..👌 Edited November 28, 2025Nov 28 by MaGer1965 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'

November 28, 2025Nov 28 and time again for DLSS swapper😄 Edited November 28, 2025Nov 28 by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
November 28, 2025Nov 28 At least I can now load it without crashing. So they fixed that. But the graphics look sharper now too, and I am getting 80 FPS at LAX. So there's that. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
November 28, 2025Nov 28 Isn't the PS5 release 12/3? So potentially the PS5 RC will be SU4 and then they will start with all platforms on the same build. Good foundation for them to have everyone on the same code train. That would also mean SU4 between now and 12/3. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
November 28, 2025Nov 28 Looks like from an initial glance, GSX isn't able to read the aircraft codes properly and thus won't load profiles that come with an aircraft. This was with the FSS 727 so might be specific to this aircraft but otherwise all is well in terms of doing a flight. AutoFPS even works right out of that bat.

November 28, 2025Nov 28 I wish I could see these images instead of Varjo Aero, 5090 FE, i9-12900K, 64GB Ram, RX Viper Rudder Pedals, AuthentiKit Controls + Fulcrum Yoke

It's not that, for some reason GSX is reading inside the soundpack folder for the aircraft rather than the aircraft's folder. I've left a ticket on the discord so lets see what comes of it
