Easily the most impressive piece of software I've ever bought or imagined. With my lowly 4070 the performance is sublime.

12 GB Vram at limit here, TAA 90 + DLLS.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Am I just imagining it, or has the big performance boost with the early builds in SU4 been eroded with successive builds? I’m fairly sure the old FPS counter has taken a bit of a dive but maybe I’m hallucinating.

Thrustmaster Airbus Edition throttles etc, TPR pedals, MiniCockpit FCU, WinWings FCU, WinWings Orion 2 F15E, WinWings A320 sticks.

Some people saying it is the best implementation they have seen, and others saying they have lost performance.  It is virtually impossible to gain any reliable information from this.
I suppose all you can do is try things for yourself.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Nope not imagining it. The first builds were almost perfect lol. Now it’s been regressed back to SU3 levels.

Hoping that maybe they had to put in some debug code or just increase debug levels to chase something down and that is slowing things down but will also be backed out...

I also noticed a regression in performance of beta builds since the start, that was with my old GPU at the time though as since I've upgraded it's been hard to tell!

It does seem to be a trend in most/every beta period though, the early builds are great then there's a gradual decline.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Performance feels the same to me.

The last two builds introduced stutters I never had before. And yes, I cleared caches.

Actually, im just curious about the process here based on the above feedback..

When they make a Beta build and everyone raves about how good the performance is... do the programmers 'lock' that data in so it remains throughout? Or when they change other stuff, do those changes somehow affect the data that made the performance good?

Probably not explained that well, but wonder why the degradation when things were going really good? And.. do they notice it?
