December 24, 2025Dec 24 Sadly, these are the same devs doing the avionics for the Contrail Falcon 50 😔
December 24, 2025Dec 24 I was thinking of messing around with it. But the F28, AvroRJ, CRJ and the upcoming F70/100 are just better planes. I don't have time or desire to sort out if it's a skill issue or an issue with the plane.

December 24, 2025Dec 24 The FSS E-Jets has always been a great aircraft to fly. They lacked VNAV, but that only meant that you had to become a real pilot and calculate your decent by hand. I'm very scared at this point to update and break a wonderful and descent airplane. Where now there is no support at all. December 24, 2025Dec 24 I purchased the EJet when it first came out and after being frustrated with it I put it in hanger for a long time. Tried it again a few months ago and was amazed at how much it improved. Yeah, the stable version doesn't have LNAV or VNAV but it flies great and is the best regional jet in MSFS 2024. I expect there will be some pain with the experimental version and if there is too much pain I'll just switch back to the stable version.

December 24, 2025Dec 24 I've flown it into EGLC. Which has many step descents. It follows it good. It is a bit aggressive on speed changes. when it needs to accelerate, for instance when climbing through FL100 going quicker than 250kts, it pitiches almost to a descent to gain speed. Currently there is pretty big high pressure system in Europe so going from standard to QNH your are suddenly almost 1000ft to high, which it corrects by pitching down a lot gaining to much speed. The LNAV is sometimes a bit late on the turn. Overall it's nice to fly. A bit more involving than that 737. for those who have cold feet, it's a simple install and deinstall if you want to try it: https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/e-jet-series/experimental-version/things-to-know Edited December 24, 2025Dec 24 by bigifooti
