James has legitimate opinions and criticisms about the product, which Islandsim takes offense with. Not sure why he can't just give his own opinions on the product instead of attacking the editing and language of of James's review.

It's pretty common with React videos where one content creator plays the other video and rebuts or supports. We get this a lot in other gaming spaces.

Not at all … the same happens here … or anywhere for that matter. Just what humans do … look at Linus (LLT) calling Steve at Gamer Nexus as not being thorough enough with his testing … that triggered a series of back and forth that ultimately put LLT on the back foot and lost revenue and reputation. What LLT should have said is “my tech’s comment was incorrect and not based on factual evidence, we apologize” and moved on … all would be quickly forgotten. It’s what we humans do be it YouTube, Twitter (or whatever it’s called), Friendface, AVSIM, etc. 😉 … that’s why I find it somewhat ironic when folks call out “the media” … it’s like calling yourself out … we are the media because we type stuff (or upload a video) on a served client (aka website) that a BOTs pickup 24/7 … digest into various AI models and spit out what one hopes is a reasonably accurate answer (70% of the time it is).
