Source: iniBuilds

'v1.2.3 for the iniBuilds A350 Airliner is now available. This update focuses on a broad range of systems stability, navigation logic, and usability refinements across the aircraft. Numerous fixes have been implemented within the FMGS, flight planning, TCAS behaviour, performance calculations, and display formatting, alongside improvements to flight director behaviour, thrust logic, and waypoint management.

Additional refinements have also been made to the ECAM, HUD behaviour, and various pages across the flight deck displays, improving accuracy and consistency during normal operations. The update is rounded out with art and sound improvements, including refined RA callouts, improved exterior audio balance, cockpit and cabin sound tuning, and adjustments to cabin lighting and visual behaviour.

This update can be downloaded via the iniManager.

It's a shame when someone buy a study level jet and don't study, instead complain how bad the product is, instead of their capabilities pretty much suck. Try learning te plane before trashing te devel

  • Abslolutely not! You probably simply made a loading error and failed to check the values before push back.

My TCAS is going off more then ever now due to this update.

Stear clear of this update. It introduces a nasty bug that puts the aircraft in DES mode on climb out after take off instead of CLB mode, until you set the MCP target altitude to your cruise altitude. Until this is fixed I would not download this "patch".

So i either set my altitude to the initial one set by ATC, or i put in the cruise altitude. In no situation do i takeoff without having something set. Sounds like this bug wouldn’t impact me?

The bug is officially confirmed. Fix follows.

Unless you have it set to your cruise altitude you will get the bug.

Fantastic aircraft.....really enjoying  this plane now!👍

Happened to me earlier on my first flight since the update. Hopefully, the fix is available quickly. Does make you question what sort of testing (or lack of) went into the update as it's a pretty big and obvious bug.

Is it really? If ATC tells you to follow the SID departure, you are going to enter your cruise altitude. If ATC provides an initial altitude (say 4,000 feet) you enter that. In either case is this bug going to show up? I can see how this could be missed based on typical use cases for takeoff in the A350, but maybe i am wrong!

I had 3000 set on the FCU, which was the stop altitude of the SID I was flying. Either way, its a pretty serious bug that needs to be rectified quickly.

No. the top end of the SID is not the cruise altidude.

Lets say I am flying out of Boston to MSP with a cruise altitude of FL370. All the SIDs at BOS have a top of 5k. On Vatsim, usually departure will then clear you to 14k. It sounds like dialing in 5k on the FCP causes the bug. What it sounds like its happening is the plane wants you to set FL370 and not 5K in the FCP.

Ah interesting. Yeah that is serious. I am sure they will fix it quickly.

I guess that explains why Cabin Ready appeared on my screen during climb.
