Yeah because those are the aircraft so many people have wanted to buy!

Randazzo is a pragmatist, and a successful one.

He'll adjust PMDG’s business model as necessary to continue that success. Just as we’re seeing with the 741, and whatever the other couple of unannounced aircraft in development are.

“just can’t stand the horrible interface of 2024 and will never ever use it.”

oh, come ON, man…! It’s like the first 2 minutes of a flight - who cares?

You sound like all the Blackberry “experts” when the first iPhone came out.

😂😂😂 I have owned iphones for 19 years and currently have the iPhone 17 Pro Max. I still miss my BlackBerry physical keyboard but the whole BB OS and features sucked compared to the iPhone. I did own various android models too. Thanks for the memories.

Haha, they're trying hard to keep up with the iFly.  Not quite managing though, especially compared to what's coming out soon from iFly.

Yep. 2024 is superior than 2020 in every way. Better physics, better weather, more options for the third parties to build more realistic aircraft.

Maybe the BBJ interior was a little bland....but FSX quality?

Yea, it was better than FSX but it was nothing special and far below what could have been done. To this day I find the layout they choose very strange, is actually modeled after a BBJ or did they just make the interior layout up?

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Always wondered the same...what's up with all this "sea of grey brick wall" madness!🤣

A few bucks for a major rework yeah PMDG doesn't do that. You really just need to see past receipts. Fenix wise Aamir always stood by what Fenix stands for not ripping customers off so I very much doubt you will see any paid version becoming paid unless absolutely neccesary and guess what the community is fine with that.

I have “past receipts”’for almost all the P3D PMDG products.

and yeah, that includes the $215 747-8i.

The new PMDG pricing suits me just fine. Far more granular and affordable.

And if they want another $40 every few years, I’m just fine with that.

I’d be fine with it for Fenix, too. Except for the fact that they charge $90 for an A319, they make a great product and deserve  all their accolades.

in sum, just because it’s digital doesn’t mean real world labor doesn’t go into it.

Looks nice.

Hope the 777 cockpit textures gets some love for 2024.

As for me they look better in 2020..

I have reshade and rez atmos core thou it looks dull and jaundice in colour.

£90 for the A319 might want to check that is the bundle which includes all three variants offensive initials not allowed/sl. cfm-iae

Thank you sharing, nice site!

As I suspected they are very different than PMDG's layout. They have beds, and couches that convert to beds.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

If I want an A319 (and I do), it’s gonna cost me $90. Because Aamir forces you to buy a 320 and 321 whether you want them or not. And I don’t.

BUT, if I just want a great 777, I can get one for $50. And if I just want a great 737, I can get one for $35.

Im glad you’re beginning to see my point now. 🤙

Will there be an option to remove the winglets on the 700? It would be great to see more emphasis on features that reflect real-world configurations, rather than focusing primarily on visual enhancements.

The PMDG 777F VC textures look fine to me. Certainly better than the textures on PG buildings

Wanted or not, Fenix are 3 airplanes vs 2, $90 vs 85. An A319 is an A320 variant. A 777 is not a 737 variant.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Yes, but his point is that not everyone wants all versions of the same aircraft type. This is presumably why PMDG split the 737 up into four different packages. Of course, a cynic could argue that PMDG determined that a lot of users of the 737 would want multiple variants, and therefore saw an opportunity to exploit the flight simulation community for profit. I do not know the real answer, but what I do know is that PMDG can never win whatever they do. There is always someone there on the sideline, waiting to pounce

Great link, thank you.

I think if I ever turn out to be that nice Mr Musk's long lost uncle or something, I'll get myself a 777 kitted out as a log cabin, complete with authentic fireplace. Maybe somewhere up at the back of the plane for the goats, even. Wonder if PMDG might offer that as an option?

Meanwhile, this high detail update looks great, and I look forward to it.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

I don’t think you are seeing my point 👍. Built from the ground up. Yeah who are they kidding quite a lot.

To be honest we were talking about updates not new planes. If you think updating a plane with the same ported sounds etc and paying for that is good. Crack on 👍 (Triple 7 wise)
