May 19May 19 I am surprised that FlyTampa did not sort that one out. It was one of the most obvious problems with using the MSFS 2020 version in MSFS 2024. That, and the low resolution texture taxiway signs. Have the latter been fixed? May 20May 20 Nothing on their forum, nothing on their facebook page. The lack of communication from those guys is speechless.Come on, even if you know how to make sceneries, it doesn't mean you have community manager skills, I understand it. But at least, get some help from people who master that part!
May 20May 20 I am confused—and also annoyed—by this complete lack of communication from FlyTampa. So, the new version still doesn't work with City Update 14? If you install the mod, you lose the 3D grass and then need another mod just to get it back? Which mod is that, exactly?Does the version at least work without any issues if you don't have City Update 14 installed? There is no official information on the FT homepage, nothing in their forum, and nothing on their Facebook page. What FlyTampa is doing here—or rather, not doing—is truly unacceptable.GreetingsMichael

May 20May 20 You still need the separate grass patch to see the grass well.I believe you do, I think the Dev will mod his mod soon to encompass the grass. I'm just happy to not be falling throught the runway. May 23May 23 What a mess.Another dev that seemily walks on water, but in reality they are a bit rubbish Edited May 23May 23 by fluffyflops
May 23May 23 Yeah, what a mess, when your freshly released version for ms2024 need a third party freeware patch over it to work as expected...FlyTampa really fell that low?
May 23May 23 I don't think FT are as big a company as they were or nowadays would like you to think, and that's not unusual to be fair.It would appear the dev who did KLAS has been AWOL for some time until the recent update to V3 which is not without problems there are 2 others that pop up from time to time but like their updates neither appears with any regularity. You can post a question today and you may get an answer next week. probably won;t be the answer you're looking for though.Unfortunately they are the only EHAM provider out there and so we're stuck with what they have to offer as soon as a better one comes out I'm off. Thursday at 11:57 AM2 days Hello everyone,I do still like FlyTampa sceneries but it's true that, as time passes, communication AND support really sucks.Back to EHAM, so there is now a patch that makes the FS2020 version compatible with FS2024.If I wait a bit before purchasing, the patch will be directly integrated into the main installer?I think that chances are low that they make (rebuild) a FS2024 native version "from scratch" given the size of the scenery. What do you think? FS2024
