May 20May 20 We know that from time to time (quite regularly in some cases) Microsoft updates the satellite images for MSFS and when I notice them, I often like to fly around the updated areas. Obviously MS keeps a record of what areas are updated and when.I wonder if it would be possible or if MS would be willing to share info about these updates with us (I'm not simply talking about world updates here but of general updates to the images). Is this something anyone else would like to see? May 20May 20 I would certainly like to see them update some of the satellite images. Specifically a large chunk of southern England. I prefer to be flying over England's "green and pleasant land", rather than a Martian dust bowl. There is also an area west of EGSU Duxford that has a handful of "messy" terrain textures that I would like to see cleaned up ASAP. May 20May 20 Would love to know (obviously). The last sync between MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 satellite imagery is still creating a lot of work to update my small airport sceneries ;(The Wishlist section of Microsoft official forum : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/official/wishlist/163 Edited May 20May 20 by vbazillio Vincent B. May 20May 20 The satellite imagary where I live down on the southcoast of blighty in MSFS 2024 still shows buildings with names on them from 12 years ago. 😠 Edited May 20May 20 by BrianT Brian Thomas MSFS2020/24, Intel i9-14900K, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Panther OC 16GB GDDR6X, MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI (LGA 1700) DDR5, Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB (2X32GB) DDR5 5600MHz, BenQ PD3205U 32” UHD monitor, Win 11 Pro 64-bit,

May 20May 20 the latest Dev Stream Jorg said they can now update their imagery independently from Bing, they don't need to use the exact same data anymore.I don't remember the exact example that was given, but he said that one place had better quality imagery in older data than in the newer data and they could possibly revert that one area to older stuff. May 20May 20 Yes, but the question is.....when are they going to do it? Every man and his dog can see that southern England does not look right at the moment. I would prefer to see this changed NOW rather than for MSFS 2028. The whole country was available in high quality summer data and then got updated with newer data from a different provider that was taken in autumn or winter and as a result got a huge downgrade.

I would prefer to see this changed NOW rather than for MSFS 2028.they change imagery all the time with world updates and such. So I doubt it will be until the next Sim version

May 21May 21 Have you tried the Orbx terrain scenery for the UK? It makes it look more realistic.ORBx terrain scenery? What is that? The Great Britain addons for MSFS will not include any satellite terrain textures.
