Something that I'd check - permissions settings, make sure you have admin or the files wont save/update correctly. The fuel quantity is constant between flights, so there is a save file somewhere that is remembering what the previous flight ended with. It sounds like that isn't able to be overwritten, or there a mismatch when you load up the second time.I assume this is Free Flight; can you try loading the HH65B variant, cold and dark, do the preflight and enter, but do not start the engines. Open the tpad, not the EFB, and go to the weight and balance and check fuel numbers, write them down. Then hit ESC, End Flight, back out to the main menu, back into free flight, load up cold and dark again, and see if it crashes. If not, enter and start up the engines (confirm fuel is the same, it should be). Let some fuel burn, fly around a bit I guess, then do a shutdown. Check the tpad and note the fuel. ESC, End Flight, Main Menu, and try again. Maybe skip to runway start. See if that crashes. If all that works in the same variant, then you can probably rule out permissions.A couple more q's - does it crash switching from the Taog to a stock/default aircraft? Or only between the Dolphin/Dauphin variants? Does it crash if you do the reverse - start out with a C172, then switch to the Dolphin - does that crash? Does it crash on runway starts as well, or do you always start cold and dark?Hi thanks for helping out. You're definitely on to something I think - from a few more tests it's always when I use the Dauphin/Dolphin to take my second flight of a session, regardless of which aircraft I flew first, so it's probably getting its knickers in a twist with the save files and is unable to resolve so it just crashes instead. I tried running MSFS24 as administrator, makes no difference. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling all 8Gb of the product, also doesn't help. Looks like it's just something I'll have to live with - as others have reported similar then at least I know it's not something unique to my system. Have to say though I've never come across such an issue before in 700+ hours on MS24.It's very frustrating as I adore Taog's other helicopters - got the 500, Huey and Alouette and love them to bits which is why I'm so frustrated that this one has been nothing but trouble.

They’re very involved there.Do you have any MarketPlace addons active, either…?Any custom liveries…?I do actually run into this problem with PMDG products, as well, and if I end up plane-hopping during a session.I suspect it’s as much a simulator Memory Scavenging issue as anything else.In re PMDG, IIRC - it’s actually their official advice not to run multiple aircraft per session, and has been since the old FSX/P3D days. And come to think of it, either they don’t even want you to boot directly in to their addon, or from another complex addon or some such…I.e., There are always addons (and computer programs in general) that are more particular than others. It creates a rather simple choice in terms of deciding what to fly. 🤙Yeah I did look at their Discord site and asked a question in the chat which hasn't yet been answered. Can't seem to create a specific bug report as it says I need a tag which I don't have - tried to get one but there doesn't seem to be any way of getting one unless I'm missing something. Never mind.I've tried pretty much everything anyway and nothing seems to work. Already spent enough time trying to chase it, probably will just have to give up on it and use some other helis instead.

Already spent enough time trying to chase it, probably will just have to give up on it and use some other helis instead. So I was interested to test a few things out and see if I could get either the Dolphin or Dauphin or anything else to crash the sim.I figured I’d load up only “heavy”, complex 3rd Party addons and see how far I could get before the sim crashed. My usual testing airfield is MCAS Kaneohe in Hawaii. A, because it’s a beautiful area, but mainly because it’s a Default airport that looks out into the open ocean with a minimum of scenery objects, terrain, cities, etc. And it’s just big enough to handle anything up to an A330.I’m going to have to find an even more out of the way place that’s similar but that doesn’t even have a World Update to complicate the matter. Maybe Diego Garcia…Anyhoo…My goal was to load the aircraft, takeoff and perform a single lap around the landing pattern for a full stop landing.I loaded up the PMDG 737 BBJ1 on top of its new update, even…Then the HH-65 Dolphin (I did get the dreaded “GPU” warning, but no further issuesThen the MilViz C-130, which isn’t known as a highly optimized addon, and was a fresh update/compile,Then the Black Square Baron…Then the HH-65 again…Then the TMS YF-23…then the AS365 Dauphin (which also needed a compile since I haven’t flown it at all in the latest release)Then the FSW Lear 35And then I got tired of doing laps 😂TBH, I was expecting it to crash at any point since addon hopping like that will crash it sooner or laterNow, all this is NOT to say it’s your fault, but that you may want to check a few things before you give up on the helo. And IMHO its presently The Best complex helo in the sim, so I’d really hate to see you avoid itI think perhaps the “GPU…” warning I got is a clue to chase down. Could be that Taogs still needs to optimize textures and LoDs and such:One thing I always do is give the sim & addon PLENTY of time to finish fully loading. I.e., I load the flight & aircraft, but I pause for at least a minute at the “Ready to Fly” screen. I’m basically waiting for my FPS to rise above 30+Another test is to load up at an isolated dirt strip out in the middle of nowhere, and see if it’s stableAdjust your screen & sim resolution down one size (this should make a huge improvement in terms of performance and stability in general)Or just adjust your graphics settings down a tad (I have to do this if I want to fly into any of the NYC airfields)Or fly the 365 before any other addon…Or restart the sim before you fly itWhatever it is, keep trying - it’s worth it 🤙ETA: just wanted to add that l didn’t change any settings or disable any addons for the above test. I don’t have a TON of addons enabled, but there are a good handful of aircraft and accessories like Seafront Simulations, MilTech ships, traffic enabled, live players and real time traffic, too 👍 Edited 45 minutes ago45 min by UrgentSiesta
